DTF Transfer Printing Film can be used on both non-treated and pre-treated, all colors and different materials fabric including but not limited to cotton, silk, polyester, spandex, blends and jeans and so on. One of the biggest advantages of DTF transfer film printing compared to DTG printing is that no pre-treatment of the material is required. The layout results are vivid colors which is more superior than Heat Transfer Vinyl Printing. There is no color limit, both light and dark fabrics can be printed, saving you time and labor costs. DTF(Direct To Fabric) heat transfer printing SOP steps Step 1: Prepare DTF transfer film, DTF ink, DTF powder adhesive, DTF printer in advance before starting your pattern transfer. Make sure the device and accessory are well conditioned. Print the designs on the DTF transfer paper at the matte side of coated layer and get the design slightly to avoid the ink overflow. Step 2: Shake DTF powder adhesive carefully on the printed parts, make sure the DTF hot melt powder would cover all the printed area completely and absorb together with the printed ink parts, then clear off the excess powder back to the tray to reuse in next time. Step 3: Put the printed DTF film with hot melt powder into the oven and bake the design with powder until the DTF hot melt powder starts melting.The recommended conditions to bake: Temperature: 266℉-284℉ / 130℃-140℃, Time: 2-3 minutes. Make sure avoid overheating. Step 4: Preheat the fabric for 3-5 seconds to remove the moisture and wrinkle on the fabric ready to be heated transferring. Lay the patterned side of the treated film flat on the fabric. Heat press the PET film with a heat press machine.The heat pressing conditions suggested: Temperature: 284℉-302℉( 140℃-150℃), Time: 8-15 second. Step 5:Slowly peel off the PET film without any corner after heated done. (VENITOR DTF TRANSFER FILM allows HOT peel even INSTANT Peel after press) Precautions for washing: 1.We recommend washing the transferred T-shirts separately with ordinary detergent and cold water. 2.Do not mix with other clothes at the same time. 3.Do not dry clean or bleach. 4.Allow to dry immediately after washing. Or use a dryer to dry. 5.After washing, if the image shows signs of peeling off, you can cover the image with greaseproof paper and iron it.Do not iron the transfer part directly with an iron. 1. Q: Can this DTF Transfer Film be used on the leather? A: Venitor DTF Transfer film is applicable to almost all fabric includes but not limited to Cotton, Polyester, Canvas, Jeans, Silk, Blends, Spandex for T-shirts, Pillows,Caps,Gloves,Sneakers etc. However, we don't suggest to use on leather, since the leather is different manufacturing technical as the fabric. It is not suitable for Nylon fabric either since nylon fabric need special DTF Powder adhesive to stick to. 2. Q: What is the standard operating procedure for using this DTF Transfer Film printing? A: For optimal results with Venitor DTF Transfer Film, here are the recommended heat press settings:Temperature: 284-302°F (140-150°C) Pressure: Medium to Heavy (2-6 kgs); Time: 8-15 seconds; Peeling method: Cold and Hot peeling both works well. 4. Q: What is the tips when spread the powder to the DTF printed parts? A: Firstly, spread the powder adhesive quickly when the designs remain wet; Secondly, make sure all the printed area is covered with powder while the other area is clean without any powder stick on. Thirdly, bake the DTF powder adhesive at a temp. of 266- 284°F(130°C-140°C) for 2 minutes. Keep moving to avoid overheating. 5. Q: Does the DTF film works with injected printer or require a special printer? A: No, for regular injected printer can not work with DTF printing. The DTF Transfer printing is different from injected printing, and it requires DTF printer with special heads, such as: L1800, ET-8550, XP600, i3200 etc.
