  • Reliable Transfer Tape for Vinyl Projects
The Cricut Transfer Tape in the 12x48 size is a dependable choice for moving vinyl designs onto surfaces smoothly. It has just the right amount of stickiness to pick up designs without stretching or tearing them, while still releasing cleanly onto the final surface. The grid lines printed on the tape are especially helpful for keeping words and shapes straight, which makes projects look more professional. The roll is long enough to handle multiple projects, and the 12-inch width is versatile for most standard vinyl sizes. It works especially well with regular vinyl, though it can feel too strong for delicate or glitter vinyl, which may require a lighter tape. With a little care, it saves time and frustration during the application process. Pros: The tape is sticky enough to lift vinyl easily, the grid lines help with alignment, and the roll provides plenty of material for repeated use. Cons: It may be too strong for glitter or specialty vinyl, it can wrinkle if not applied carefully, and it adds extra cost compared to generic transfer tape. A reliable and easy-to-use transfer tape that helps vinyl projects look clean and professional. Perfect for standard Cricut projects where precision and smooth application matter. ... show more

  • Great!
This works great, and is a must have! The thickness is perfect, and the stickiness is the perfect amount. I've bought others that didn't want to release the vinyl at all. The ease of cutting is easy, and I like that the sizing can be adjusted to the item you're wanting to transfer.

  • Does the trick
Pretty easy to use sometimes the vinyl won’t adhere to the transfer tape and makes me work all sorts of angles to get it to transfer properly but other than that it releases the vinyl very easily onto the surface that I need it to. Will buy again.

  • Works great for my crafting needs.
For all those looking for a decent transfer tape, I have have really good luck with this. I bought a second roll after my initial purchase because I really like it. I have tried multiple brands and I really like one as it’s not super sticky, I can easy peak up what I transferring and apply it to my surface, and it comes off without any issues. I don’t like the type of tape that when you try to remove it, it sticks to the surface and destroys your project. I would say this is more of a lighter to mid adhesive transfer tape. I work with vinyl, but mostly lettering for cups and easy projects so it suits my needs. Like I said, it meets my needs for my easy transfer projects I recommend it. I have used it to apply labels to glass spray bottles, aluminum spray bottles, water bottles without problems. When I send a customer a label, I always apply the transfer tape before mailing out and my customers have been satisfied with the results. If anything changes, I will update the review. ... show more

  • Did not stick
The transfer tape itself isn’t terrible except that took some fiddling to remove it from the backing. It did NOT work for my Cricut glitter vinyl though. The only reason I bought this was because the reviews said it DID work on the glitter vinyl.

  • PRO TIP
I see that a lot of people had a hard time using this product, but it is very easy! I will leave some helpful tips down below. This works for all textures, mattes, shiny, and glitter! When trying to pick up the vinyl onto the transfer tape... 1. Place transfer tape on vinyl and use a scraping tool or a credit card to adhere both together. 2. Flip the whole thing over and peel the backing on the vinyl off. TIP: pull the backing almost 180 degrees opposite of how it was laying. While you’re peeling the backing off, lightly press down and pull. If you notice the vinyl is not releasing from the backing, then press down tighter on the backing (without folding it/making a crease) and pull. Keep doing this method until you have successfully transferred the vinyl onto the tape. When placing the vinyl down onto crafting surface... 1. Place transfer tape with product down onto a clean and smooth surface. 2. Use scraping tool or credit card to adhere vinyl to the surface. 3. Pull the transfer tape back 180 degrees, using the same method above especially if you have a hard time releasing the vinyl. If it won’t stick, go back to step 2. Hope this was helpful for you all. I will try to add a video when I have some free time. Let me know if this was helpful to you! HAPPY CRAFTING! ... show more

  • The BEST transfer tape!
I am new to the cricut community. I'm slowly finding out what products work and which don't. I have tried 2 other types of transfer tape that were a total waste of money. I figured i would try the name brand from Cricut and let me tell you, i will never use another kind again! This tape is perfect. Very easy to work with, sticks to the vinyl VERY well and transfers with no problem! I can use the same piece a couple of times to, which is a huge plus! ... show more
