Description
Pirate Face Tattoo brand of thermal transfer paper is used by artists and tattoo artist to transfer design images on to the skin and other surfaces. The 4 ply sheet includes a purple ink layer to easily transfer clear perfect images on to your skin. This transfer paper is suitable for use in a thermal copier machine or freehand drawing. Also known as stencil paper or carbon paper. Pirate Face Tattoo has been producing quality Tattoo related products since 2008. Pirate Face Tattoo Transfer Stencil Paper (15 pack) Method 1 - Freehand draw your tattoo designs on to the front side of transfer sheet (A) using a pencil or ballpoint pen. Whatever you draw will be copied exactly on to the back side of transfer sheet (A) which can then be applied on to skin. Method 2 - Copy your paper designs directly on to the transfer paper using a thermal copier machine. Compatible with all brands of thermal copier machines. Prep the skin with a stencil applicator agent before applying the transfer sheet. Gently press the paper to the skin without rubbing. Slowly peel the paper back to reveal the stencil outline.

I have been tattooing for over a year now and I have tried several different kinds of stencil paper and there’s absolutely no one that compares to this one. Hands-down is the best paper I have ever used. From now on I’m only buying pirate face tattoo stencil paper. The quality is supreme. Even the tissue paper that you discard it’s top quality. It comes in a heavy duty envelope to protect your pages. On the inside you papers are protected by a thick plastic bag in case it gets wet you won’t get them damaged. The only thing is that the dimensions on the package are wrong. It says they are 8.5“ x 11“ but the reality is that they are 9“ x 12“ which is no problem because they fit perfectly in the thermal printer. It transfers to the skin in a purple color not that cheap blue of the other ones. It stays in the skin while you are tattooing. You are not gonna lose your stencil. The transfer sheet is so thick and such a good quality, it’s remarkable! Spirit stencil papers have nothing on pirate face. I recently acquired 100 pages of stencil paper for $20 and I regret it so much. These 15 pages for five dollars are value for your money. you won’t regret it. Comparing to the other brands you can see in the pictures the cheap brand have such a poor quality compared to pirate Face. you can see how the cheap brand carbon paper rolls up but the pirate face tattoo stays. It’s a thicker purple carbon sheet and it’s purple not blue. I’ve been looking for the perfect paper and I finally found it.

YES, IT WORKS WELL.

BEFORE YOU RATE THIS PRODUCT POORLY: you MUST use a stencil gel or cream to apply the stencil to the skin. If you use deodorant/water/hairspray; IT WILL NOT WORK. If you use these things anyway, you should not be tattooing, please research and commit to proper safety practice. ANYWAYS, they absolutely work and apply easily. I used a PocketJet3 thermal printer to print my stencils. They came in a cardboard folder, the sheets weren’t bent, and everything was packaged well. They are not at saturated as spirit thermal, but they don’t rub off and stay on very well. If you are drawing you stencil by hand, you are better off getting specifically freehand only stencil paper- it will work more easily. Great value, great product! Would rather buy these than crappy fake spirit, if you want spirit don’t buy on Amazon.

Overview: I like this product a lot. I’m designing a tattoo myself, so this is the best method to see what it would look like on my skin. Tips! (as promised) 1. DO NOT use water. Picture #2 is when I used water. In some areas I used too much, some too little. It’s hard to control water and it ruined the stencil. 2. DO use Speed Stick deodorant. Works perfectly, as seen in picture #1. Got mine from CVS for $3. 3. Press the stencil onto your skin with a towel. When I held down the stencil with my hand, it was uneven and got smudged. Using a towel to hold it down for 15-30 seconds is way easier. 4. For more intricate designs or when applying on uneven surfaces (like a hand) cut up the stencil paper before applying. 5. This does stain easily. I’ve already stained my bathroom counter during applying and my bed sheets from the “tattoo” itself. It takes some time to dry on your body, so just be careful. 6. It lasts a few days. I’m currently trying out different designs and I have to wait about 3 days between applications, because it’s a little tough to wash off. On the plus side, I like it because you can “test out” a tattoo for multiple days. Edit: Amazon no longer allows you to upload images with your review so Picture #2 was a super blurry and sloppy ink fart while Picture #1 came out exactly like the stencil. Hope that helps

Ordered this for my thermal printer. Good price for 15 sheets. Will be buying from Needleboy again very soon. IF you do not have a thermal printer, dont worry! Get an old "dot matrix" printer (can pick em up for 10-15 bucks now..maybe cheaper) and take the ribbon out. Run this through and whala! Stencil transfered. (Just read a review about saying the same thing :) ) You can also draw on them and create an outline that way too! If you are working on the cheap, use a stick of clear deoderant on the skin to transfer the image but be sure to cut that layer off before you apply it on someone else to be sanitary! You CAN find transfer paper cheaper but you CAN'T find one with Spirit brand quality and I've used quite few. Plus, the shipping was super fast!

Better than I anticipated!

For its price, I thought it was going to be low tier and not work but it works perfectly. I originally got it since im practicing tattooing currently, and was going to use it on oranges.. but I found out that stencil will not work on orange textured skin. I bought a honeydew, and it works amazing. I've testing on myself and it sticks and stays perfectly on skin. Note, I am tracing it with a pen since I currently do not have a transfer machine but I imagine it would work the same depending on your machine. The pictures are from tattoos I did on a honeydew, one week into self-taught tatooing.
