This is perfect for somebody who's just had rotator cuff/shoulder surgery. It's easy to put on and remove without assistance from somebody else. The straps are very soft and do not chafe.

I bought this to have a second sling when I had shoulder surgery. It is fun to live up a boring sling that you need to wear for weeks or more. It is very comfortable and easy to put on. With the extra strap, it is more stable on the body as well.

Broke my right humerus at shoulder or upper arm joint. The splint works well to immobilize my arm and helps with most of the pain with it's stabilizing abilities. It is a little aggravating though because it does ride up in the back after sitting or bending and that's the biggest reason I bought. I think it would be better if that strap was long enough to go around the waist then attach it in the front. It's worth the money and I'd recommend it to family.

No arm sling is genuinely 'comfortable' because it's always going to feel pretty unnatural, but this sling is probably about as close as you can get. The straps seem to have been intentionally made to allow for as little rub and chaffing as possible. It's easy enough to put on by yourself, though you should probably have someone help with micro-adjustments the first time you wear it. The fabric is soft and breathable. Overall this is a great option if you need an arm sling. I liked it better than all of the previous models I've used over the years for recurring shoulder pain.

The Velpeau Medical Arm Sling, Shoulder immobilizer for me it was a lot thinner than it appears on the product listing photo. It is a thin mesh. I didn't find it easy to use and I have other shoulder immobilizers that are more user friendly, especially if you're trying to put it on by yourself.

I really like this sling, it is possible to use by myself. I appreciate the fabric slides easily over my arm unlike canvas. It is also breathable which would really help in the hot summer months. I would like a choice in colors, but that isn't really a big deal compared to how comfortable this sling is.

The materials are ok. It's nice that it's breathable and lightweight, but when you first pull it out, you wonder what goes where, strap-wise. I honestly couldn't figure it out until I looked at the instructions. Even then, the instructions weren't super clear, so I had to study them. Once you figure out where the straps go, it's pretty decent. My biggest complaint is the lack of padding on the shoulder. If you're going to be wearing this for extended periods of time (which most people probably would be), it would be nice to have more padding up there, rather than just have the same material doubled up on itself. Other than that, it's decent.
