I recently got a new cat that runs around my house at about 50 MPH! Every time she ran down the hallway, the runner would wind up almost sideways and all wrinkled up. I spent the majority of my day straightening it out. I had my doubts about this mat - but all my doubts have vanished! No idea how it keeps that runner from sliding all over - but it sure does! My cat is still running down the hallway at warp speed - but now my rug doesn't move! Not one bit! My cat put it to the test, and it passed with flying colors! Well, it's been a few weeks since my initial review. Unfortunately this no longer works as it did for the 1st week or so. The pad seems to have lost it's adhesion to the floor - and now my rug runner moves and slides across the hallway like before I put this down. I'm so disappointed. Idk why I've been putting off to get a nonslip under rug sheet bc my kids run and play in the living room and it always shifts our rug. The room is carpeted, but because there is in an entry door, I get lots of debris, dirt from people walking in and out. I got a washable throw run to put down, but it kept shifting.
