VEKEN 55 X28 INCH ELECTRIC STANDING DESK WITH ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT. SIT TO STAND COMPUTER TABLE The reason I was so happy to find this sit to stand desk is because I recently read somewhere that sitting for extended periods of time is as harmful to your health as smoking. Even though I run,or go to the gym often at 5:00 AM when they open there;s no denying that unless I'm doing errands or housework I was doing too much sitting. When I read sitting was just as detrimental to health as smoking it also mentioned one way to help was to get a standing desk. Can you imagine my surprise when I saw this standing desk offered on Amazon? I didn't hesitate for a moment to order it when I saw it. The reason why was I had no idea where to get one since recently reading about it. I do want to include that my husband was away on a business trip when it was delivered. I mention that because the box was too heavy for me to carry into our house. Both my friend, who is a neighbor tried carrying it inside, and we couldn't do it because it was too heavy. My advice if you order this set up your delivery instructions ahead of time if you have Prime, and ask that the delivery driver helps carrying this inside because her husband wasn't home either and it was raining that day. That's my best advice to women who order this. However, if you are stronger than I am know that this comes inside a long box that weighs 19 pounds and is difficult to maneuver, but you might be able to do it with no problem. After my husband came home, and when he had a chance he set this up for me without any problem. It's size is very generous and we wanted it to go inside our home office, and now I have a desk that I can stand while I'm working on my computer. With the dimensions being 55 X 28 I think you'll be quite pleased with the amount of space this desk offers. It also looks really nice since the color is White which gives it a clean look, and it matches any space you choose to place this in your home there's no worries about it blending in which I appreciate that the color White gives it a pure crisp look. You don't have to stand the whole time, because you can easily adjust the height and take a break from standing and sit down. It's plenty sturdy in my opinion, and overall it's a great quality for your expense. Think about how you can't put a price tag on receiving the benefit of improving your health. It's naturally shaped to fit your body, also. I've been using mine for awhile and highly recommend this innovative impeccably designed item especially for sedentary people with for various reasons completing tasks requires long hours of sitting with the caveat of knowing that with keeping in mind that with the height is easy to adjust, and you can start with standing for shorter increments of standing will also improve your health allowing you to sit and proceed at your own pace is going to be a huge step that will reap rewards towards your health, as well.
