My 10-year-old is getting to that age where she likes to stay in her room more often and paint, Read, etc and this desk is perfect. Was not hard to set up, I'd say it's pretty sturdy. Bought this for my son. When I saw the box I knew I'm in trouble. The box is thin and light so I knew the table is not gonna be too thick. To my surprise the drawer and basket is made of clothes. The same material and construction they used to make foldable boxes in ikea. One of the tube is slightly damage and misses the mounting hardware so now it's hanging on one side. Will probably use an angle bracket to fix it. I know for $70+ I can't expect too much. But i bought my daughter around the same price before from a local store and it has better build that this ... show more

My 11 y/o and I put this together for her room. It was a decently easy assembly with step by step instructions. Quality isnt superb by any means, but wasn’t necessarily expecting such for the price. Not a big fan of the material the drawers and side pocket is made of- over time that will likely be an issue in a kids room. When my table came one of the table legs was missing the bottom portion where the table peg goes. On top of that, the instructions were not clear at all, was not an easy installation. Don’t want the hassle of returning it, but it’s a good size.
