When I opened the box I was first impressed how well lit was packed and padded. I was continued to be impressed as I took out the components. These were no cheap items, they’re heafty and well made. Details such as brackets and parts were stamped for orientation and hardware were bagged in indivusual bags and not in a cardboard backed tray that always sees to fall apart. Extra hardware was also included in it’s own bag so there was no wonder if extra screws meant you forgot one. Assembly was also well defined. I am extremely happy with this standing desk. The assembly process was simple, and all the parts arrived well-packaged with clear instructions. Works as advertised. I didn’t really need a standing desk, but they’re so popular now that this was the best value desk I could find that had what I was looking for. It wasn’t too hard to put together. It has a little spot in the back center thats made of plastic and it’s like a cable management thing. It’s a cool idea, but I wanted to mount my monitor stand on the back middle and ended up having to offset it to the left because I can’t mount it on a plastic cut out. I don’t remember seeing that in the ad or I may have bought a different desk. It’s one of those things that seems insignificant but in my specific case it was kind of annoying. ... show more

This is a great desk mechanically, and it looks nice. And the materials are also pretty good for the price that you pay. It is very easy to set up and the instructions are good, and it provides tools as well, except for a drill or a screwdriver (which you will need). The only reason I'm giving these 3 stars is because when we received the desk, the top comes in 2 pieces (which is fine). It is connected by dowels and screws, and the holes that are pre drilled for the dowels were misaligned, so the desk with lopsided by about a quarter of an inch on either side. All in all a good desk I just managed to get a cosmetic dud which sucks. ******UPDATE***** This company reached out to me within two days of my review (gave it 3 stars because of the cosmetic damage) and offered to ship me a brand new desk at no cost and I got to keep the old one. New desk came in and everything fit and looked perfect. They were very apolegetic and helpful 10/10 customer service. You dont get something like that every day. ... show more

This is the second time I've bought this desk. One for work and now one for home. Easy to put together. Sturdy. Really inexpensive. Effortless moves up and down with the touch of a button. There is no storage, such as a drawer, but it's long enough to have supplies on top of it and still have plenty of room for writing or using the computer. I don't mind that it's a laminate top. You are getting what you pay for. That being said, it feels great and looks modern. Must be plugged in so you can see the cord. Again, you get what you pay for.
