I've only had it for a day, but so far, I do like this desk. Assembly was great. And *almost* went flawlessly. I love the fact that it comes with spare parts, though it would be better if they also supplied an extra of that tiny, but crucial, set screw!. My one mistake was not tightening that screw enough so initially everything worked, but then stopped working after a few ups and downs. The control rod loosened after the first few trials and there was nothing for it but to flip the desk again and put that piece back in and retighten the set screw. Tighten that puppy within an inch of its life! Then try to tighten it some more. No issues since that fix! It seems quite sturdy, though I can tell, even after one day, that I'll need to tighten the bolts holding the legs to the feet as it has begun to rock just a bit after a day of beating on it. Hey, I'm an old lady and I probably don't wrench things quite as hard as I might. It is to be expected. I have the tool handy to tighten it all again. I'm quite cramped for space here, but I was able to wedge it into the corner allotted to it just fine, with space to spare (I love the fact that it comes in so many different sizes). After reading all the reviews noting damage, I am happy to say, mine came well-packaged and with no damage at all. I was initially unsure about getting the two piece desktop, but they fit together nicely and the fact that even the little 47" length came with 4 dowels to keep the halves aligned. Honestly, for the price, if it lasts a full year, I will be happy. For now it is lovely to be able to adjust the height to whatever suit whatever the latest crick in my back needs for comfort. No regrets (yet!) ... show more

    • Great desk but some cosmetic issues

This is a great desk mechanically, and it looks nice. And the materials are also pretty good for the price that you pay. It is very easy to set up and the instructions are good, and it provides tools as well, except for a drill or a screwdriver (which you will need). The only reason I'm giving these 3 stars is because when we received the desk, the top comes in 2 pieces (which is fine). It is connected by dowels and screws, and the holes that are pre drilled for the dowels were misaligned, so the desk with lopsided by about a quarter of an inch on either side. All in all a good desk I just managed to get a cosmetic dud which sucks. ******UPDATE***** This company reached out to me within two days of my review (gave it 3 stars because of the cosmetic damage) and offered to ship me a brand new desk at no cost and I got to keep the old one. New desk came in and everything fit and looked perfect. They were very apolegetic and helpful 10/10 customer service. You dont get something like that every day. ... show more

Arrived in perfect condition. Easy to set up solo for an able-bodied person, but you will need a Phillips-head screwdriver. Likely easier with a powered drill version. Works great; the height-adjusting motor is whisper-quiet, the desk itself is sturdy and seems durable and reliable. I'm loving this desk! Looks sleek and modern. Measure where you want to put it before ordering to make sure you have sufficient space for the desk. For me it fits perfectly along a long, blank wall in my living room. Being able to stand up and sit down while working with ease is really important for joint health.     • Can't be beat at the price point

There are countless choices in standing desks at countless price points, I ended up with this one for a pretty good features to price ratio. I have no intention of acting like this is the best desk since the invention of desks as some reviewers will lead you to believe. If you want value and practicality this is an excellent choice. PROs - PRICE @ $109.99 I got a lot for relatively short money - Controls, save a height on the memory setting and all you do is push the button once and the desk does the rest hands off. Other standing desks make you hold down the memory key until it stops at your preset height. - Packaging, anyone who has had particle board products shipped knows the corners are ALWAYS busted. The packaging had a hard plastic corner and semi soft corner guards nested together. All the metal was packaged in soft cutout foam no Styrofoam pills everywhere. So there was zero damage during shipping when I opened the box. - Assembly, easy to assemble and only a hand full of pieces that all fit together intuitively - Headphone hooks, one for each side under the desktop. sturdy enough to hold my laptop back pack (sans laptop) they also add rigidity to the 2 piece top joint. CONs - Wobble, there is a slight wobble when it is up to 45 inch height, everything is tight as it gets. It is solid for typing and writing but you will notice the slight wobble - 2 piece top. Can't really expect a solid top at 100 dollar price point but it is held together nicely and once everything was spread out across my desk top I hardly even notice the seam. - Cable "organizer" there is a cut out on the rear of the desk top with little plastic wire dividers I use it but it does take away 6-8 inches of space right in the middle of the rear of the desk... RIGHT in the prime position for a dual monitor stand base to attach. Had to attach my monitor base slightly to the left of center because of this. ONE MORE THING - not really a PRO or CON but the instructions have you place the motor assembly leg on the left side of the frame but the pre drilled holes for the controller are on the right side of the desk top... simple fix either spin the top 180 degrees but this exposes the spinning control rod to the front where it could be exposed to damaged. I chose to have the rod behind the frame so it was protected from my chair arms or knees. It was easy enough for me to pre drill 2 new holes and move the control box to the opposite side (the cord is super short) but would have been nice to have that line up as expected. Over all 4 stars, It is a great product at a great price. My only concern is longevity, out of the box the price can not be beat but I'll see if the price stands up to the passage of time. ... show more

What a great find by my wife! She got this desk for her remote job. The desk might have been one of the easiest pieces of furniture that I’ve ever assembled. Color is great and the size is perfect. The preset height buttons (1, 2, 3) make it to go up and down and the preset heights are perfect for my wife. There are up/down buttons for fine tuning past the presets. There were no missing parts and even a few spares. I liked that the manufacturer included 2 headphones holders for either side of the desk. Overall, good value for the money! ... show more
