For the discounted price of $180, this adjustable height desk is a pretty good deal. The desk is relatively light duty and I wouldnt want to overload it, but it does feel quite sturdy once assembled. The motor is very quiet and height adjustment works well even under reasonable load. I really like the size of the desktop and the ability to adjust the height makes working from home much more comfortable.     • Smooth elevation controls and easy assembly

I am very impressed with how easy this was to put together and how smoothly the up and down lift works. I'm a senior lady and assembled this on our kitchen island. I was a little intimidated about flipping it over and sitting it down on the ground after I was done, but it only weighs around 40 pounds. That's less than a grandkid. All the holes are predrilled so I just used my little electric screw driver I keep in the kitchen drawer. Didn't even need to go out to our workshop to grab a full sized battery screwdriver. The directions are in babysteps with lots of helpful hints and full illustrations. It all goes together easily. If you don't have predrilled holes for the control panel or anything else you've assembled it incorrectly. So it took me a couple hours to put this together while I watched a movie, but I was cooking dinner at the same time, and took the dog for a short walk too. If I'd been able to fully devote my time it would have taken a bit over an hour. Maybe an hour and 15 minutes. I love the whole concept of a standing desk. I think it will be great for my health. but as I get older I find that being able to sit down for a bit after a couple hours of standing is extremely rewarding. This gives me the best of both worlds seamlessly. I spend a lot of time on the computer and the elevation operation is extremely smooth. No rocking or vibration just a sturdy lift. I don't have to worry about rearranging my desk before changing elevation. It comes with 4 preset elevations that can be left like they are or customized to individual preferences. It also has a up and down button if you need a different setting occassionally. It's nice to have 2 people to carry it after assembled. I was too excited to wait for one of my helpers and didn't need to go up any stairs so I got it in our home office with little effort. It has rubber feet so it doesn't mess up our hard wood flooring. On the back is an area to feed cords and keep a nice stream lined look. The finish is that rustic wood that looks so good and is so popular. The legs, control panel etc. Are all finished in a slightly lustrous black finish. If you're familiar with paint finishes this would be satin. This one is 55" long so it would work out very well for crafting and sewing too. Being so long, any project can benefit from this. ... show more

This adjustable height desk has been amazing for working at home. Since working from home I have been sitting more often, definitely more than I need to be. This desk helps me to function and get my work done, however I‘m able to do it while on my feet. It has been good to take a break from sitting. Standing while I work has benefited me in so many ways. While standing I can have the computer screens at eye level and be ergonomically correct. It has helped improve my posture, as before I would often slouch in my office chair in order to see my screen. I have found that I am also more alert while standing and working. I feel that my productivity is much higher. Sitting in my chair sometimes makes me want to go to sleep, standing and keeping my blood circulating helps me stay focused and obviously it’s much better for my overall health. Standing over sitting helps burn more calories as well. This desk is very well made. It is very heavy, extremely durable. There is plenty of surface space for working. I am able to fit multiple screens on the desk along with laptop, iPad and phone. It has a high load weight capacity. It has been beyond useful and very well functioning. I love that this desk raises electrically with an attached controller. You can raise it each time by pressing the up or down arrow, to get your preferred height, super easy to control. You can also have up to 4 different preset positions. For example, I have number 1 set for my preferred height for standing and then number 2 is my preferred height for when I’m sitting. I did the same for my husband with number 3 and 4. It definitely makes it easier and quicker to find your right height.The desk operates very quietly. It has rounded edges which I love not only for me as I will often run into corners, but it’s also much safer for my kids who are passing by. The legs of the desk are very sturdy and have adjustable pads so that the desk will sit level. This desk has been a great addition to my office. The assembly instructions were clear and it took me about 20 minutes to assemble the desk. It was straightforward and easy to complete with the hex key provided and a drill to drive in the screws that hold the top to the legs. The desk raises and lowers smoothly and quietly, and I like that there is a control pad with four different height memory settings. Realistically I only use two of them (high and low) but I having more options is never a bad thing. The top is made of a coated MDF of some sort that is pretty sturdy so far. There is a little bit of flex if you lean on it, but it does not seem to be a problem. Some others have mentioned that the seam that runs across the middle of the desk is an annoyance, but I never found it to be an issue. I have a laptop and a monitor on the desk and I usually have my hands on the closer half of the desk. This desk fits perfectly into my office and gives plenty of real estate to work with. I fit a MacBook and an external monitor along with an iPad and various other tech items and have plenty of space. Would buy it again. ... show more
