Just purchased this jig and used it to build a shop bench as a test drive. It performs as advertised and is fair value. Product reflects some smart features that improve ease of use as with setting the drill bit collar and the reversable strip for positioning. The plastic track that connects the jig to the spacer that positions the jig the correct distance from the other board started to misalign after only a few holes. I also experienced two instances (out of twelve) of the jig "walking" despite being clamped. i used this to put in over 200 pocket hole screws! the drill bit was perfect and still sharp! easy to use, even without clamps - can just hold it as needed. all the projects i did are holding great, without any wiggle or creaking. able to be used on wood as thick as 4x4's!!

I made the pocket holes perfectly fine. Definetly best when using a clamp to hold it in place. It will get hot if you do a bunch of holes back to back, but I didnt see that as an issue. Im sure there are better ones out there, but for a non-professional this did everything I needed.

I purchased this to use while building a planter. I did find it quite easy to use given that I have never done pocket holes before I liked the price point compared to some other options I had seen. The only thing I will say is that you do have to apply quite a bit of pressure to the gauge while you are drilling into it. It may be helpful to use a clamp to ensure it does not slide out of place. Overall a decent product though and I will be using us again for future projects. ... show more

This set comes with the jig, the 1/4 inch specialty pocket hole drill bit as well as the depth collar and it's own dedicated allen wrench. Most jigs for pocket holes are relatively the same and they all accomplish the same task. This one has 2 holes which is a plus! The bit is well crafted and extremely sharp and accurate.
