I just wish it had a longer knob on the handle, it would make it easier to grind. Got it for making recipes calling for fresh pepper. It wears my hand out when grinding several teaspoons. If it had a wooden knob I would be able to grind peppermint all day. But it does the job and does it well. Grinds up pepper into little pieces the best out of all the grinders we have used.

This is cheap and works, there is a spring to keep the knob tight for grind size, but the little knob on the crank binds and it is too small to really hold to turn easily. i will probably remove it and make a longer little crank handle for it. it holds plenty for pepper corn and will get used. its nice thick clear top makes it nice to see how much is in it.

I would give it 5 stars if you could adjust the grind. (If it does I couldn’t figure it out) Comes out a little too fine and doesn’t hold much . other than that it’s great. Been searching high and low for a crank grinder, better than the twist grinders, easier on the wrists.

These grinders have become a necessity, due to basal thumb joint arthritis. They are much easier to use than the rotating type of salt/pepper grinders you buy at the grocery store. It's not 100% pain free for me, but a huge improvement. I recommend moving the grinder handle slowly and it's more comfortable. I like that you can adjust the coarseness and the shakers hold a good amount of salt and pepper. I bought the 4 inch size and was concerned they might be too small. Happy to say they're perfect and hold plenty of S and P. The clear top and the entire base holds more than I expected. Definitely recommend.
