The reviews I’ve read here are not model specific so I want to express that this review is regarding the Veikou 8X16 polycarbonate GH. First this is definitely a two person job. On a slightly windy day I would even recommend a third person to hold things in place while building. The GH is made in China and not of the best quality material and somewhat flimsy but once put together it feels a little more sturdy. The screw holes don’t always line up properly and I had to elongate several holes. Some of the frames were slightly bent but easy enough to bend back into place. I’m a little nervous about how well it will hold up in a strong wind. I would definitely recommend using silicone to adhere the polycarbonate panels in place. This took about 5 days to build with two people working about 4 - 5 hours a day. That includes the time it took to level the space and build the planter boxes and frame for the GH to sit on. The instructions are pretty much just pictures but easy enough to follow along. Update: after siliconing the panels in place the greenhouse is much more solid. We had winds of about 15-20 mph yesterday and other than the two upper windows rattling around a little it held up very well. So well that I’m upping my rating to 4 stars. All in all I’m satisfied with the product. 2nd update: I though people might like to know the overall cost. When I first looked at this in Aug 2022 the cost of the GH itself was $999 and a $99 delivery fee and of coarse tax. I wanted to think it over for a few days and by the time I decided to pull the trigger the cost went up another $40 to $1039. I spent approximately $150 on the cost of lumber for the frame the GH sits on and the lumber to build the planter boxes. $100 on pea gravel and $400 on soil. $40 on silicone, $15 on a couple bags of cement for the corner post. All in all from start to finish including tax was about $1900. ... show more

Not bad, there were only three minor issues with the instructions: the window section, no mention that you need to caulk the panels and that it is free floating (no anchor). Right now, while filled the Temps are 6 degrees higher then outside at night.

We are very happy with this greenhouse. It was simple to assemble with pictured steps and numbered parts. Yes it could be sturdier but for the price the construction was well done. Definitely add silicone caulking as it will not only protect it but it felt more solid after we did that. One suggestion for manufacturer Is to make this just a little bit taller. ... show more

Greenhouse is as described by seller. It arrived quickly and in good shape. Assembly was fairly quick (less than a day) and mostly straight forward. Window could be better engineered as it can slide around and there is no method of locking it down for higher winds. One person assembly is possible but 2 people would make it a bit simpler. Greenhouse gets quite warm inside on sunny day. First night it was up we had fairly heavy rains and it was dry inside the next morning. ... show more

This came in two boxes. Both boxes were damaged. The panels were peeling and some corners were damaged. I was still able to put it together, just not happy with the damages, but it's functional.     • Seems pretty flimsy roof vent already blew off.
Does not seem very sturdy and have only had it together two days and the roof vent blew off. There is no way to secure the roof vent in the down position so will have to get creative and customize it so that it can be secured in the down position. Will see after I have had it longer but really don't expect this thing to hold up very well given it only took two days for one defect to occur. ... show more
