    • All Thuds and no tones: Cluckingly Disappointing
So, I thought my chickens were about to unleash their inner Beethoven with this Vehomy Chicken Xylophone Toy. But reality hit harder than a hungry hawk spotting a field of chicks. The hype was real until the big moment arrived. With drumstick in hand, I played a hopeful tune, only to be met with a chorus of 'thuds' that'd make even the most ardent chicken-music enthusiast wince. It was less 'birdsong serenade' and more 'awkward backyard clunks.' I relocated this musical misfit more times than a perplexed rooster trying to find the dawn. But alas, the tune remained as flat as a pancake run over by a tractor. Sure, installation was easier than shooing a chick into its coop. Kudos for sticking to the mesh like it was chasing the last worm. But in the end, it's more of a decorative pity party piece than a feathered jukebox. In a nutshell, it's the coop's equivalent of a one-hit-wonder – promising more than it delivers. So, this 'fowl play' is getting the 'return to sender' treatment.     • Good quality and colorful
I put this little xylophone up in the chicken run for my chickens. It was at neck level so they could see it. One of the chickens pecked at it once. The others looked at it and left. They did not pay any attention to it after that. It’s colorful though and helps brighten up the chicken run. Those chickens have all been processed now. I will get new chickens in the Spring. Hopefully they find this xylophone a little more interesting than the other chickens did. ... show more

    • Chickens think I’m crazy
I thought it was a cute idea. But the chickens thought otherwise. They don’t even notice it and I have it attached to their exit door. I left it there just in case they change their minds. But it doesn’t really make much noise, even when I tapped on it. It was easy to attach and it is constructed well, but the metal is too close to the wood to make noise. ... show more
