It's very cute and the chickens were interested at first but it doesn't make much sound and the bars the metal bars sit on make it hard to move them freely. Going to shave down the wood bars down to see if I can get the metal to move more freely and hear some sounds. What do u expect for $11 though.

I bought this for my quaker parrot who loves to peck at things and loves bells/noisemaker toys. First of all, the wood is balsawood. It is easily breakable/chewable wood. It is glued together. Secondly, it doesn’t make a sound when hit. At first I thought it needed to be hit by metal or something, but it still didn’t make a noise after being hit with a spoon.     • Small with faint sound.
It is quite small , but I didn’t check the dimensions ,figuring it would be similar to a child’s toy. It does not have much sound. Again expecting it to be as nice as a child’s toy , but it isn’t. I will keep it as the price was reasonable and see how the chickens like it.
