I purchased this planter for my 89 yrs young Mom. Last year she fell in her little garden and fractured her pelvis. I set it up in her front yard on level ground with easy access to watering. It looks lovely! Now she can still have her summer garden! And I have peace of mind. Also,unlike some styles of waist high planters she can lean on it without fear of toppling it over. Great raised bed garden. It solves our problem of wildlife eating our vegetables. With some simple trellising, even the deer leave it alone. The height is also easy on your back when weeding. Easy to assemble and looks nice in the yard. It required a lot of material to fill it. I'd reccomend buying the insert the company sells. I will buy the insert with my next unit.

Once we got the hang of putting it together, the second one was super quick. I love that there’s protective edging and the tall height of the beds. The only improvement I see is that it would be nice to the option of having a hole on the side for funny pipe to run though for irrigation. I know it could be buried as well but I don’t want to have to dig out 30” of dirt if my sprinklers spring a leak. But we’ve figured out another way. These beds are excellent quality. Not cheap material at all. And I can’t wait to not have a sore back from bending over to weed, plant and harvest my veggies.

I was a little uncomfortable ordering this due to the price. It was delivered well packaged, all parts were included. It does take time to put it together, however based on the ability to ship, I expected it to take time to put together. A few of the edges were sharp, you want to be careful not to cut yourself. One person can definitely assemble by themselves, however if you assemble inside your house or in a garage, I would recommend putting a moving blanket down to prevent scratching the unit or your floor. Additionally, if you assemble anywhere other then where you intend to place the pod, I recommend you have help moving it to where it will be permanently, otherwise you could damage the pod, it can twist and turn. It is a large size, which is why I purchased it. The height is exactly what I was looking for easier on the back. Depending on your gardening experience level might influence your expectations and love of this pod. You would not want to fill the entire pod with garden or native soil from bottom to top, you would not get the most favorable outcome, poor draining high cost and more. I recommend laying the filling. Happy to share what has worked for me if interested. The color options are great. I cannot speak to customer service, I have not had to use. The cost is higher then many I looked at, however, the grade of materials is slightly higher. The ultimate test will be over time and how it performs.

Fits together well, easy to put together if you remember the ribs are horizontal. People who don't always read the directions (mmmm?) can actually put the flat pieces together wrong. There is a really nice flexible rib that runs along the top of the finished tub so you don't cut yourself of the metal edge. Lots of screws and support tubes, but there's a lot of soil in there when you're finished. The model we got can be configured 10 different ways!
