Update 7/13/19...I’ve been wearing this helmet now for several weeks. Super comfortable and not too hot even at 90 degrees. Best half helmet I’ve worn as far as comfort goes. I’ve been wearing a modular full face helmet for a few years since my last half helmet was heavy and made me look like a mushroom head. I needed something for warmer weather and figured I’d give this a try. I am really happy I did! Helmet fits perfect and does not look like a mushroom. This is a great find. A buddy recommended it to me. Comfortable. Light. Easy to put on and take off. Strap clip is a great addition. I can stash it in a saddle bag. My only gripe is that the sun shield is too close to my eye glasses, but I’ve probably got a fat head and large glasses. Added ear/speaker pads and a Cardo JBL Bluetooth setup and it works great. Optional ear pads cut down on wind noise, even without speakers installed. My other two helmets cost $700 each and I returned that company’s competitive model, plus another leading competor’s model, because I liked this better. Was ready to spend $400, but it simply made no sense. Great bargain, for my needs. ... show more

Fits great. The quick release strap built in and the adjustable knob on the back makes this helmet fir perfectly. The helmet is light weight, the shield is dark and padding feels good. I think this is probably one of the better half shell helmets you can get for under $100.

So, let me start off by saying I looked, and researched A LOT of helmets. Youtube, Amazon, ETC. I was being picky as to what I wanted. This helmet met a lot of the criteria but not all. I ALMOST bought the Vr2 Rebellion. Actually the only reason I did not is because the sun visor is NOT removable ( it is replaceable). On to this one. If you can see the pics, I have a 22.5 in head so, according to the chart, I would of been a Large. I ordered it and it was just too small. So exchanged for a XL. FITS great and OMG WHY do all helmets not have the dial on the back??!! It is incredible. The DDV (drop down visor) I will only use when it is raining and I will already be miserable so the fact that the visor is hitting my nose (see pic) is not that big a deal for me. The lid visor comes out with 3 screws. Which I plan on changing to 3 buttons so I can add a full shield for rain (maybe not use the DDV). As you can see I do not, in my opinion, look like a mushroom. It is not a skid lid so it would be unfair to compare to a skid lid. LOVE the way it looks. DDV is a little hard to pull down. I can tell with thick gloves it may be a challenge. I did order the ear pads from Vega. They fit perfect but I had to put L on R and R on L ( maybe they marked it wrong) and my Sena 30 installed easy. There is no removable liner in this but I used a plastic auto trim remover and was easily able to push all the wires in to the helmet without any issues. I took a star off for the DDV hitting my nose and for the no removable liner. Oh. the quick release chin strap is da bomb!! ... show more

This is a very nice helmet. The sunshade is easy to flip up and down when you're riding. The chin fastener is easy to latch and take off as well. Theres an adjustment in the back to make the fit a little more snug or looser depending on your preference. That works great also. The padding on the inside is about an inch thick. I was kind of hoping it would have been a little thinner so it wouldn't look as big. That's the only complaint, but its def not a deal breaker. Looks good, and fits great. ... show more

Awesome product!!!! Compliments from first day. Have owned many skull caps and this is by far the best I’ve had. From the quick release chin strap to the adjustable head band you can’t beat it for the price.

This helmet saved my life! My picture shows how the helmet took the force of the fall when someone hit me on my bike in March 2021. I lost my leg but it could have been my life. This helmet is definitely worth the money and definitely does its job. It is very comfortable to wear. Not heavy and doesn't move back and forth. I will be replacing it with the same. This helmet rocks for the price! I have a full face Motocross style Helmet I wear riding my ATV and dirt bike. In my opinion u should only wear a full face helmet for a motorcycle, atv, dirt bike, etc. I wouldn’t wear a half or even 3/4 helmet on those if you care about yourself at all. Go smash your jaw into the pavement at just 5mph and see how it feels and how many teeth you have left. But in the relative safety of a fully enclosed side by side with roll bars and a 5pt seat harness, a full face helmet is probably overkill. I wanted a lighter half helmet for that purpose but still a real DOT helmet that will save my melon if needed. This works great. To highlight a couple nice features: 1. The twisting adjustment knob at the back is great. Really snugs it up or loosens it as needed. 2. The strap is like a ratcheting with quick release. I hate on my full face helmet how long it takes to put off and on because of looping the strap thru the metal clasps and it’s a pain to quickly take on and off. With this quick setup on this helmet it literally takes half a second to throw your helmet on and off. Very nice. For sizing I might say these run a tad tad small. I normally wear a L helmet. But based on the measurements listed I ordered an XL and it fits great. With the knob at the back you can snug it up. I’d probably say if you are a little unsure what size or in between two sizes, to just go with the larger size. For the price this is a darn good helmet. I might even say it’s the best u can find for the price. ... show more
