ADT alarm panel, low/absent battery warning. All peripherals were fine. Finally deduced that it was the battery in the control panel. Instead of having ADT change me an arm and a leg to change the battery, I did it myself. 5 minutes tops. One screw at the bottom of the screen and then 2 halves slide apart. Unplug the old battery and plug in the new. All good. ... show more

The battery was either already dead or defective. It also looks like it was manufactured in someone's garage. I guess I'll be purchasing a battery through ADT. They are double the cost but at least I know it will work.

I changed the battery in my ADT control panel. This battery had to be put in upside down as opposed to the original but the color coded wires are the same and it plugged right in. It works great and when I need another I will definitely look here as the product is exactly as described and shipped fast even without being a prime member ... show more
