I had been using the octagonal soft sided pens for my three cats but, after years of use, they were a bit tired and needed to be replaced. Also wanted to replace them with a rectangular pen to save some room. New pen needed to hold a small elevated bed, litter box, water station and food tray. And my 22 lb chubby cat in one and two skinny girls in the other. Purchased one of the Veehoo 40-inch pens for him first. Assembly was quick. Only took a couple of minutes. The only issue after assembly is that the support bars on the two long sides at the bottom of the crate do not lie completely flat. I managed to fit in all of the above-noted contents and then introduced it to my cat. He instantly took to it and he seemed well pleased with his new nightime quarters. So I decided to purchase another one, same size, for my two smaller cats to share. They also are pleased with their new dining and sleep quarters. I added two scratching pads (which I also purchased on Amazon) to two of the side walls of their crate as one of my girls likes to use the side walls as scratching posts. I used velcro to attach. Hopefully they will hold up. My only other concern, one that was noted in other customer reviews, is the zippers. The zippers attached to the netting doors are very taut, and if you try to zip them quickly, especially around corners, they can easily break. So I would advise to zip slowly and gently. Overall, so far, I am happy with these purchases. The crates are strong, the fabric and grey color are pleasing, they are easy to keep clean, and they take up less room than the octagonal pens. And, most importantly, my guy and two gals are content. So, to date, it is a win-win. ... show more

Very easy to set up, like that you can access from front or top, very nice materials too! Not the manufacturers problem but my dog figured out how to unzip the bed and chewed the foam in the bed, so be sure the zipper is turned over on the bottom side! We’re planning on using these for our two ShihTzu puppies when traveling in our motorhome. We bought each of them the 24 inch size. They can also be used in the car and when staying in a hotel. A bonus that they can be folded up for storage when not in use.

Set up was easy. It comes with a thin cotton type pad, which easily folds to stay in the carrier during transport. Has handles, so it's easy to carry. We've had it set up and the dog goes in and out. We plan to use it for a few trips in the upcoming months, so we'll see how the dog handles the kennel - if she chews on it, how the zippers hold up, etc. ... show more

I appreciate that this travel crate is easy to figure out, fold and unfold! I'm vertically challenged (5'2"), so my height makes it a bit bulky to carry, but it's not hard for a person of average height. I like the zipper closures, and that there are several openings. The pockets are useful, as are the flaps. My 60lb pittie was so curious about it, and once we put his blanket inside, he went in and fell asleep. I keep this at my parents' house, as we visit often. It seems like it would be easy to spot clean, altho I've not yet had to. ... show more

Horrible kennel for anything with paws/nails; did not last even one use. We unfortunately have just had the need to use this kennel and when fully zipped to keep our dog of 7lbs in while we were away; she scratched or tore through the top. AND now we can’t even use it at ALL cause our 3lb dog has scratched or tore through the front panel AND he unzipped it while scratching at it and got out when we were not home; which resulted in him pooping and peeing in our house. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! ... show more

Very good quality! Better than we had seen from other manufacturers. Very easy to open up and collapse. Great openings for ventilation. Bought the largest size for a 70lb dog and he has plenty of room to stand, sit, turn around, lay down, etc. He sleeps in it every night in our bedroom. Love it!
