Description

This assistance arm can be used on tire changers with square post. The provided screws and pad is fit for 4.72 x (4.33-5.12) inch 120x(110-130)mm Square Post. In addition, if you have DIY skills, you can also apply this on colomn type tire changers. The pressing tool is made of high quality hardened plastic material, which can not only press the rim of the tire but also lift one side of the tire to do tire changing. The assistance arm has vertical movement distance of 0-345mm/13.98inch. The switch is used to control the shaft by toggling the switch up or down. The assistance arm has a 8mm three-way air inlet adapter, making the connection of tire changer and assistance arm more fast and handy.

Today, 10-14-25, I finally got to try out my new toy and it works great. I have a No-Mar motorcycle tire changer and it’s been a big disappointment but I’ve also been modifying it to change ALL types of tires. Anyway, I figured out how to to make this assist arm work with my tire changer set up. I do a have Harbor Freight / Mcgraw 175 Max PSI air compressor. I have been using the assist arm at around 100 PSI. It’s plenty strong, I don’t understand the negative reviews, I honestly think people abuse things. I did try it out on a Harley Davidson Street Glide Front Tire and also on my spare dodge durango tire, which is s 245/70-17. The assist arm absolutely has NO problem pushing tires down and helping to hold them up, helping to keep them on the Duck Head. Also, where the up / down switch is, I did cut the guard shorter. Another thing, I did mount this by my self, to a 4 x 4 steel post, it was not easy but definitely doable. And, IF I need to raise it up any for taller tires, then I have cut to pieces of 2 x 2 square steel that I purchased from Lowes, and I can unbolt the steel plate from the concrete and place the two steel pieces under the plate and bolt it all down. Yes I’m nuts, but I purchased another one of these as a spare, I like it that well and one day you probably can’t buy it anymore. 11-19-25 ... show more

Wow! I’ve got to to just say it couldn’t have been any easier to install on my Mayflower Tire Machine that I’ve converted to work on my standup scooter tires for my business Sonic Scooters. Not only is this gonna work so well and be such a helping hand literally I could also use it for different things not just changing tires, it’s like having a third robotic arm to help you hold and push down Tires etc when working by yourself. I could see a lot of benefits from this hydraulic Assist arm. Super simple to install literally took me 20 minutes plug-in play had everything you needed which was very easy and quick, quick connect airlines fit perfect on the machine I needed nothing other than 20 minutes of time to install it it looks fantastic it’s gonna work fantastic I am super super happy five stars all day long!! ... show more

Quick and easy solution allowed me to mount lower profile tires. On my machine, which looks like lots of machines, it mounts just below the main arm. I mounted 245/45 tires. I will say at least on my machine, thats about as wide a tire that it will work with.

Poor quality unit. The threaded section on the end of the aluminum air cylinder is machined too small for the provided steel nut, thus stripping the threads off the cylinder in the very first use. I happen to have some machining equipment and experience so I machined new threads and a new nut. I also added six 3/8” set screws to help support the cylinder under load. I probably should have just returned it but I’m stubborn. Would not recommend!!! ... show more

Works GREAT. I have one of those Chinese XinKong Tire changers. Always worked great for years but without assist arms its very hard to do low profile and run flat tires. Ordered the left and right arm. The right arm is super easy to install. I mean, took 15 minutes. And it makes tire install so much easier. Now I am noting we have a machine with a round post. This one is for square post. So we simply welded the clamp plate onto our round post. Took like 10 minutes to do that. Then we bolted the arm directly to the plate. Was just as easy as to just clamp on the right arm. (We are a welding and fab shop though). This added arm, meaning our machine has two assist arms now vs. before it had none, makes things sooo much easier in many ways. Installed a run flat tire on a Rolls Royce Chrome rim. Was easier then expected. Vs. before would have been a struggle with the likelyness of a scratched damaged rim. Don't want to risk that on my cars. (I collect high end cars and trust very few with service.) ... show more
