    • Decent, for the price
For just over $100, my expectations were fairly low on how this stand would be when it arrived. My initial reaction when assembling the metal parts of the frame, was that it seemed quite flimsy. I'm not sure I'd want to put a large amount of weight on it, but for my needs it's fine. The mesh shelf parts in particular are quite thin, and will flex to some degree despite what the advertising blurb above reads. It took around an hour to assemble, with a few backtracks because if there's two possible ways something can be attached, I guarantee I'll pick the wrong way first. The orientation of the top parts of the metal frame aren't obvious on the instructions, and they have to go one way (at least if you have the stand with the power outlets, due to the the cutout in the top). If I had to do it all over, I'd say assemble those metal bits, and line them up with the wood on the floor before you screw it to the rest of the frame, so you know which way it goes. The wood is MDF, so you have to be a little careful screwing into it. Don't overtighten the screws. I made an error at one point and used a wrong screw that was longer than needed, and thankfully stopped as soon as I heard creaking, as it would have broken through the wood easily. It's a little disappointing that the two halves of the top don't have a continuous 'grain' pattern. It would look so much better if the seam wasn't as obvious due to this. The screw-in feet are adjustable, allowing you to balance everything out once you have it put together, reducing any wobble. Feels pretty solid.
