Very sturdy for a toddler that gets rambunctious, but also looks nice when guests stay in it. Impressed with quality of bed, instructions & pre fabrication (all the screws were easy to get in, holes aligned, etc.) Took exactly 1 hour to assemble it by myself. Would buy again.

Bought a full size mattress with a nice frame for only $200 off Craigslist 2 years ago for my new apt. Well after 18 months the wodden frame and plastic legs started wobbling and I am single guy that weighs less than 170 pounds, so it clearly was low quality. I bought this and assembled it in one hour with the help of my little sister. This is not very hard to put together but by myself seemed impossible. Anyway after completing it I couldn't be happie. We like the bed frame especially for the price. For my 13 year old 5’8” son that outgrew his twin bed long ago. We needed another option and he liked this. He built it in about an hour without much help so that tells you how not-so-hard it might be because that was our agreement. You want a new bed you aren’t paying for? Do your part and be helpful and learn to figure stuff out. So far it is sturdy and nice looking, very basic. The only thing is that the new mattress slides side to side on the frame.     • Leg Design/Placement on VECELO Full Size Bed is Deeply Flawed!

Though certainly the fact that New York apartment has a 1/2 inch slope to the 1930s wood floor certainly contributed to the flaw in the leg design, the diameter and placement of the spindly aluminum legs under the frame was stupidly conceived. The four corners of the frame have a 2"X1" floor face and are appropriately sturdy. But the 5 legs of 3/4 inch diameter under 12 inches of length spread around the undercarriage simply bent one by one as anyone slept on the bed. By 2 months into use, 4 of the legs had snapped off their frame attachments and the bed was more like a hammock than a frame, lol. After sleeping on the bed for another 2 months that way, I went to a local hardware store, purchased 3 steel inch diameter pipes and 3 inch diameter plate screw on phalanges for both sides of the pipes, and sheet metal screwed them onto the frame across the middle beam. It was an industrial solution that improved the design 100%. I should patent the concept and have the company pay me for the design to be honest, for shear annoyance alone. Incidentally, I did contact Amazon Customer Service as the bed was collapsing in the middle, and they referred me to the manufacturer who wrote me back a snarky, sarcastic and dismissive reply telling me that the "entire company was on vacation and they would get back to me with additional leg parts, if they were able to locate them in their shop." It was so juvenile and unprofessional that I simply laughed and never pursued them again, designing my own solution. So much for customer service in this particular case! ... show more
