The instructions were pretty easy to follow, through some of the hardware was difficult to actually screw into place. All it all it ended up very sturdy and super cute. The only thing to be aware of is that this product, once assembled has some sharp corners both on the outside and on the inside edge where the medium compartment meets the small. The media could not be loaded. I was going to put it on the floor in my son's room, but it's a little too small to look right on the floor. It's perfect for a desktop shelf and fits his taller books well.

Pre installed holes weren't done all the way, top board wouldnt go down all the way, and the hand tools given were useless when getting to last step. If I had it over, wouldnt have bought!!
