LOVE!!! Not just like. Let me tell ya WHY. I labored long and hard over many bunk bed reviews bouncing back and forth. I read the reviews about missing parts, cracked boards etc. I can say this, though. Not only did the company making this product do an amazing job, but the shipper and Amazon just ROCKED IT!!! LOOK, there are products you buy that are good, do the trick and you are happy. We sort of expect that, even though every package we get on time and in one piece is a finely tuned melody of production, QC, packaging, transport and delivery all coming together to make a song for each customer. It is a feat. We are really spoiled. So thanks all! Just sayin' On to my review: Yes, when this huge two piece delivery came to my door attached to two polite and very strong young men toting it seemingly effortlessly AND in record time (given how large this bunk bed set is), I was THRILLED!!! I got the triple bunk, because I have three grandkids and the two boys are climbers. The third grand is only 2months, but growing fast). When they stay at my house, which is endowed with only two bedrooms, I needed a place to let them play as well as sleep, while I kept the baby in her crib safely with me at night. So, that said, being that I bought the triple bunk I got TWO separate packages about 7' x 3' x 2' (approx.). When I opened the first package, I saw the directions for putting together the double (not triple) bunk. "Oh no", I exclaimed. I called Amazon, who promptly called me back and put me on the line with the shipping company. They did have the other manual on-line in a printable version. Although I had no printer. Sigh. Good thing I opened the second package. It contained the instruction manual (how to assemble) for the triple bunk. Yippeeee. I put these together on my own, MOSTLY. Run through and lay out all your pieces and hardware FIRST. Count the number of each (they even send the funky little hex wrench, which you will have an almost intimate relationship with by the time you complete putting it all together...lol). I have heard some people use a drill. Great! I did it the harder way. Signature "me" style. NOTE: there will be times YOU MUST HAVE TWO PEOPLE TO ASSEMBLE. You can do quite a bit of the tedious stuff yourself, but yeah, no way around it. Invite a strong friend over when you've done the most of it you can in your own and lure this person over promising pizza, beer and chocolate cake (plus a blazing fun time applying both brawn and brainwork to complete a worthy task..HA) So, this was not a simple project, but do-able. I was absolutely gob-smacked by the quality and sturdiness of the pieces all tagged with letters to identify them. Once together, I decided to buy bunkie boards by taking accurate measurements down to my local Home Depot (they cut large plywood sheeting for one dollar a cut). Bunkie boards add a bit more sturdiness and I felt I could use thinner foam type mattresses to give a higher rail for a bit more safety. You will learn NOT to put the backside of the bunk beds up against the wall, UNTIL you have the mattresses and bunkie boards in place. There are a few more helpful hints I am forgetting, but with patience, you will bother persevere AND conquer. Oh, and don't forget. Wait a day or two and then go through all the bolts and tighten them up a smidge more. If loose, tighten until snug. I could climb to the top bunk and I felt secure, so was their a slight give? Yes, of course, but it wasn't such that I felt there was any danger whatsoever. The only danger is them learning to climb up and down correctly and safely. Grandma needed to be there for that lesson. My gandboys are three and four years old (btw, no one will sleep on the top bunk until old enough - they are small enough yet to both fit in the bottom bunk, which suits me fine...they will grow) I do suggest buying some colorful soft need balls or toys that your kids can throw down safely from the upper bunk. My g'kiddoes need to be supervised by me and their little sister right now until they are more skilled at this. Fun safe stuff to throw down is a delight at this age (for some reason) Bottom line: I had zero problem with quality (one very small chip of paint, which with this size of a product was nominal, to me). Boards were not warped, holes aligned, hardware was all there and substantial (they did not look or feel cheap AT ALL). Instructions were mostly right on (and what wasn't was pretty easy to discover and work around) and easy to follow. These are such a fun way to save space and create a bedroom for more than one child, while leaving room for a play or study area (if your kids are older). Would I buy these again? Or recommend to another? ABSOLUTELY. The only thing that would have made this experience just a little bit better was having my bunkie boards precut and ready to go AND saving a few hundred bucks above the cost so I could hire it out together for me. YEP, that would have been dandy! As it was, I did OK and my purchasing experience left me in awe of the many hands that worked behind the scenes to get this Super Great piece of furniture into my home. The installer could have used more help (smiling) My grandsons LOVE THIS BUNK BED!!! They climb like monkeys!

I read a lot of good reviews for this bed and my sister purchased the triple for her girls however I have two boys that sleep on this now and in the future I may have to order the triple when my other son gets old enough for his big boy bed. First let me say that Amazon plays no games they delivered this thing at 6:30am my husband was asleep so I just dragged it in the house. When I opened it I was a little flustered because of some reviews I came in with the idea that it would be hard to assemble or it would be difficult to do by myself. I didn’t want to wait for my husband so I started on it on my own. I read the instructions first and found the tools I needed. (I used a screw gun because I couldn’t use only my strength for this) I got to work and IT WAS A BREEZE! I saw the parts I needed for each part so I started pulling all of those pieces out at once because well what you do on one side you do on the other. Pulled all the headboard and footboard pieces out for both bunks and got to work. If you are doing it on your own what I suggest is stacking the headboard and footboard for the top after you get the bottom done and standing. As I said I didn’t want to wait for my husband he had just gotten in from work at about 4am. So when you stack them do not screw the pieces for the top bunk in all the way until you have all of them in place to connect the head and foot boards. After that everything else was a breeze. My sons love their bed. My husband said we should have put my 2 year old on the top and my 7 year old on the bottom because my oldest fell off the bed before and broke his arm but I was like umm nope because my 2 year old will swan dive off the top bunk and sure enough my 2 year old climbs on his brothers bed when he is at school and jumps off the ladder. And the bed does not even budge. I didn’t buy a bunkie board and I’m okay with that decision because their mattresses fit fine and they are small enough to not make any indents on the mattress when they are on it. This bed is great I don’t have to worry about them having toys, trash and junk under it and I don’t have to worry about anyone crawling under it and kicking up my anxiety. It’s easy to move if I need to and it is small. I even laid down with my two year old on the bottom bunk and it didn’t move. Worth the buy.

**for a sizing guide, the pics I added show my 2 & 3 year olds on the bed** Love the beds! Wonderfully perfect size for my toddlers. The ladder is a bit too narrow for them, going up is ok but they're not comfortable trusting their feet to hit each rung coming down. The bunk bed is so short though that they're able to dive off the side onto another bed we've got placed beside the bunk bed. It took my husband a few hours to set it up alone. He was annoyed with the tedious work and length of time it took, but he got it done. I'm happy that I'll be able to unstack the bunk and use the beds separately once my kids get older. I need to put plywood under the top bunk, it could use the extra stability for sure. There's not much space on the bottom for sitting up, I'm 5'3" and I cannot go from a lying to sitting position when on the bottom bunk bc there's just not enough room, my head hits the top bunk. I'm fine with it, but others should be aware before purchasing. I have 6" mattresses in place and they're the perfect size. The bed feels sturdy and so far I'm happy. There are some dings on the boards, which likely happened during transport, and that's why I gave 4 stars. Edit: I've had this bed set for a while now and it's held up phenomenally against my wild toddlers (of which there are 5, ages 3 and under). Please do make sure you put a board of your own underneath the mattress of the top bunk to offer more stability. Took my munchkins a bit but they finally found their confidence in coming DOWN the ladder (going up was never an issue). I placed a massive 5 foot beanbag on the side of the bed and my kids love jumping down onto it from the top bunk. They've had many fun imaginative adventures with this bunk bed set. I can't wait to buy another, but I'm waiting for the right price (it's risen a hundred bucks more than when I initially bought it).

Surprisingly this bed worked out pretty well. The quality is good and my daughters love their new bed. It was easy to put together, but pay attention to what sides have holes for the ladder and side rails, it’s easily mixed up and we had to take apart and reassemble. It says to get a mattress that’s no more than 6” deep, so I recommend either slightly bigger or getting a sheet of plywood to go under so the slats aren’t felt through the mattress. Overall happy with the purchase though.

We love this bed. It takes a bit to put together especially if you’re only one person vs having help, but it’s possible. It’s the perfect size for my 5 year olds and I can tell this is a bed we’ll be using for a long, long time. Also give more use of the room vs having to have 2 separate beds. Build is sturdy, but easy to move if needed. I saw someone say they needed a twin xl mattress to completely fit the frame but a twin worked perfectly? I can fit on the bottom bunk comfortably so it’s spacious.

Every bunk bed I’ve looked at was specifically for children, and adult bunk beds are insanely expensive. This one is perfect!!!!!! For reference, I am 5’7 and 150 pounds, and the top bunk can support me and two of my friends, and more on the bottom I’m sure. The bottom is slightly tight, you can’t really sit upright but it’s roomy laying down :) Putting it together is a two to three person job. I payed my friends in pizza to help lol. Took around 6 hours. The tools they give you will be your best friends, but we did use a power drill to get the nails in for the final parts (the wood that goes underneath the bed for support.) When it says full over full, it means adult full, not children’s. Make sure to check out the dimensions before purchasing bed frames, as I almost bought a children’s full elsewhere. Overall awesome bed I love it so much!!!!!!!!

We needed a triple bunk bed for our kids room to free up the floor for play. This bed seemed to check all the boxes. When it came everything was there and it was easy enough to assemble. It took my husband and I a better park of a day but it wasn't anything overly complicated. Our kids absolutely love it. They each have their own space and love the space it frees up in their room. That said a week after we assembled the bed we noticed a couple of small cracks in the wood. We figured it was just settling in the space and didn't worry about it. Over the course of this year however the bed has cracked and split in a variety of places. We actually aren't sure at this point if we are comfortable having our kids sleep in the bed for much longer. The upper bunk side rail is split completely on one piece of wood and a lot of the corner posts are splitting in minor to major ways. We are really careful to not let our kids jump around in the bed or pull on it too much but it doesn't seem to matter. It is really disappointing that this bed didn't even make it a year. If you are using it in a bunk room or for grandkids I imagine it would be ok but for a full time sleep option it isn't worth the money.
