The V700 does NOT have wheels. V700 is just barely big enough to fit my Crumar Mojo 61 keyboard. With about a half inch of foam padding on each side, the keyboard fits very very snugly. Total weight with keyboard inside is 40 lbs. I believe it is right up to the limit of "oversize baggage" (total dimensions W+L+H must be less than 63"). I'm hoping to avoid oversize airline fees (southwest just raised their fee to $200 each way) but we'll see! If I can travel with no oversize fees it will be worth the risk of minimal padding. Latches are great and the case is very very sturdy, built like a tank. The handles snap into folded position and stay tucked. Huge savings over a custom flight case and likely more secure. Foam was hard to cut but I cut the bottom layer to fit and had some pluck and pick strips left over from another case that I'm using instead of the second layer since there's only 1/2 inch of play on each side. My keyboard is on the heavy side but I have a little plastic folding dolly that's working well.

Very nice case as expected from Pelican. Strong, secure, waterproof, versatile. I use it for miscellaneous storage in my late model hybrid Tundra truck. (For cargo straps, first aid kit, tool kit, jumper cables, gloves, etc.) Since the typical under seat storage compartments are filled with the hybrid batteries, I needed some place to store little used but important items. Strapped upright to the front bed wall under the tonneau cover using the truck’s built-in strap clamps and an 8’ auto retracting come along strap. Easy to remove and relocate if the bed space is required. Nice setup!

I bought this to protect my Headrush Prime guitar effects modeler. There's enough room for the modeler, plus all accessories to play a gig. I feel like my gear is very protected. Keep in mind that this is NOT the top-of-the-line Pelican case! This case is not meant to survive a 40 foot drop onto concrete. That being said, it's still a sturdy case, and feels solid once the lid is shut and all six latches are shut. The lid will open all the way, and feels "floppy". The foam is in layers, and is not pick and pull, but cuts to shape very easily. I think this is an excellent value for an equipment case. I wouldn't throw it into airport luggage, but it would probably be ok. For me, I'm loading my own gear to and from gigs, and feel my equipment is protected exceptionally well.

The media could not be loaded. Tried giving this product a 4.5 out of 5 stars but Amazon seems not to allow halvsies. So let’s start. Shipping box arrived flawless from UPS. This is unusual in my opinion but glad it made it without tears, forklift stabs or crushed. The case has no scratches or cracks. It looks well made in terms of imperfections or manufacture errors. QC looks good. The lid has flex. It's not flimsy but it does bend. All latches work. The foam inserts are all solid; they are not the "pluck" type. There are multiple layers within the case. The bottom of the case has about 3 manufacture circles that look like the sun but that is just the molding process. I highly doubt this will affect the case's longevity. This IS NOT a negative. I just think they look funny, but not excruciatingly noticeable. There are noticeable plastic marks all over the place but this case will be used and not sitting around to look pretty. You'll notice what I mean in the "lip" picture I have included. It's a Pelican case so I am only hoping the case lives up to the company's reputation. One thing I would personally like to mention are the latches and how they work. When you press the front button on the latch, it releases the notch or lip located on the case's main frame at each latch location. I've included a video because I always wondered how this worked. I was looking for a case that had draw latches so that it would prevent wear on the lip I talked about earlier. But these latches also work to prevent that wear of both the latch itself and the "lip." I've included a short video of how the latch works and the lip.

I purchased this case to hold 2 boom mics, one cable each, and two headphones. I purchased additional configurable foam inserts to customize the case because I have difficulty customizing regular foam inserts.
