Keep in mind, an insulated boot that's waterproof means your feet are going to smell like a dead hooker after 8 hours of work. Arch support is good, traction in snow and mud is good, but the lugs are a little difficult to clean. Does look impressive in photographs when you are pressing a submissive's face into dog feces, so keep that in mind for your next consensual humiliation encounter.

Compared to the previous model of the same size (11.5) the shoes are slightly less comfortable. The upper is more open and does not wrap the foot with the same quality and comfort. The build quality is good. The price is excellent. Overall a good buy.

I've worn Vasque boots for years because the last fits my foot so well. This pair is narrower than they have been before, so I tried to return them and get a wide - but they are not available in wide. Amazon's inflexible return policy makes this difficult, if not impossible, as I'm overseas and can't use their UPS-designated return service. So, I'm stuck with a narrow pair of boots, I guess. Next time, I'll avoid Amazon and order directly from another seller with a more normal return policy, or at least a company where I can contact a person when I need one.

Have been wearing this exact same model of Vasque boots for a few years now so decided to get a replacement because the old ones are pretty worn out already. So far have tried 3 different brands of hiking boots but this is the most comfortable. The boots fit as expected. The only mysterious thing is there is a sticker on the box the shoes come in thanking the buyer for giving these shoes a "second life". Not sure what that means - the shoes seem brand new and I wasn't aware of anything unusual on the product page when ordering.

I've been a loyal Vasque wearer for 25 years. I work construction. I bought these because they were out of stock of what I have been buying. I'm a size 10. Whichever Vasque I've bought in a 10 over the years has fit. These are tight across the bridge. I loosened the laces to slack and they've slowly stretched to wearable but the laces are too short to reach the top eyelets. I had to buy some 81" boot laces to compensate. I would suggest buying a half size bigger. That said, they are lightweight, have a full rubber toe, waterproof. A little shorter at the top than what I like but also $70 cheaper.
