This is a fair quality generic centrifugal clutch that comes with a 60" chain. It does the job adequately. It is not Hilliard quality but still OK. It gets my recommendation if you are not looking for better quality. I can't comment on durability at this time. I may revisit this if it wears out prematurely.

I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality parts, supplies, and tools. This clutch is for mini bikes, go karts, or other powered equipment that use a 35 size chain, this clutch has a 5/8 shaft size and is 11 tooth. This is not what I would consider a high end clutch assembly, but will work for most applications. Price point is considered reasonable for this item.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of this clutch. It's destined for a project I've been working on for a while and so I haven't had a chance to install it yet and likely won't for a while yet. But having played around with different options and lots and lots of parts, I've gotten a good feel for what will work and what won't. I'm definitely rather happy with how this looks and it feels like it will last. And survive some rather, well, what I'll say can be enthusiastic usage! Definitely seems like a good option if it's something you can use in a kart of yours.

Amazon says I haven't reviewed this, so this is another review. I am in the middle of a go-cart build and I was looking for a clutch for it. I am not finished to the point of installing this clutch, so the next best thing I can do is inspect the quality of it and ensure that it is a good fit for my use. The best way I know how to tell build quality is to dissemble it just a bit to inspect the major components. In taking this apart, the item I focused on was the bushing surface of the clutch body (driven/sprocket) to the driving (center shaft) part of the clutch. This is the most likely part to wear. I was impressed that this was a full width bushing with just enough play to last for a long time. I would guess that taking this apart may void the warranty, but for me it was well worth the knowledge as I don't like to put things on that are going to fail quickly.
