I Liked the drill driven installation with the adapter that comes with these. I tried a lot of other types like the curly Q barbed etc. All of them pulled out in heavy wind while this type stayed in. Make sure you use a shackle to connect that is the right size for the eye hole at the top of the ground anchor. Good Product.

My soil....felt solid - I mean, I had to use my impact wrench to drive these buggers into the ground! I was admittedly trying to use these anchors to winch a trailer uphill. I pulled them out. The anchors themselves are super sturdy and solid! They'll definitely hold up! I'm just not 100% certain on the weight rating but, ya know these should hold anything you want in the ground.

We have clay soil, so I made sure to install these when the ground was a little wet. When using my impact driver, these anchors went right in the ground. Works as expected. Has held the playground equipment in place and passed all the tests. Will buy again.
