This was an early Christmas present for me, and I’m ectatic! It’s absolutely beautiful, and the storage space is amazing. Assembly was a piece of cake, it took my husband and I about 10 minutes. **TIP!!! At first we had the same problem as others- the holes for the mirror didn't quite line up. But if you look in the directions it says to keep all 4 loose before attaching the mirror, and when we loosened them, everything fit perfectly! It needs to be able to shift just a hair to line up with the mirror. It came well packed, and in perfect condition. I had been worried due to previous reviewers receiving broken pieces, however this was packed and padded wonderfully. I think a lot of the damage has more to do with the shipping company than the actual packaging. The box itself was extremely heavy and large, we ended up opening it downstairs and bringing it up piece by piece. Assembled it is GORGEOUS! It’s sturdy, and the storage space is incredible! I can’t believe how much will fit comfortably in the drawers. It looks amazing in our room, and I couldn’t be happier! It’s absolutely perfect! There is plenty of counter space and the top drawers come out all the way for easy access to what's inside. The 3 bottom drawers are blocked from coming out all the way without tilting them which is good, you can't accidentally spill the contents (they're big drawers, so another plus!) It is sturdy and amazing quality, especially for the price. While only the vanity and stool legs are solid wood, the whole piece feels very solid. The bench is high, and like others I can't cross my legs comfortably but that doesn't really bother me. I would rather be sitting a little taller, so that's a plus in my book. The vanity is gorgeous still. It has plenty of drawers and spaces to hang necklaces and such on the back of the mirror. The stool that goes with it however is not great. One of the legs broke in half within the first week. Where the leg snapped there was clearly a knot in the wood that made it weak. It couldn't be repaired. Overall the vanity is gorgeous but I wouldn't buy this one again because of the weakness and quality of the stool. We have avoided setting anything heavy on the vanity for fear of it's legs potentially being compromised as well. ... show more

    • Well Made!! Easy to assemble.
I looked far and wide for a vanity for my wife locally. No Luck. I found this one on line and was worried that it would arrive damaged. When I saw the package on my front porch I was even more worried. It looked like it had seen better days. When I opened the carton I was very impressed with the quality and quantity of packing material. Once I had the contents out of the box,the directions were complete and easy to understand. The vanity was easy to assemble and was surprisingly sturdy. The legs for the vanity and stool are both well made and fit nicely. the table itself was sturdy and well made. I only have two small suggestions for improvement. The finish on the legs for both table and stool were not great. I was able to face the streaks and defects towards the back and they do not show unless you look for them. Also the vanity top is varnished wood. I ordered a piece of tempered glass to fit on the top. Now if my wife spills her nail polish or drops something it will not damage the top. Overall this is a very nice vanity. My wife loves it!! It is not heirloom quality, but I expect it will last for many, many years without trouble. The only other thing I would add is an LED light around the middle mirror. ... show more

I purchased this vanity a couple of months backs and so far I am happy with it. I will try to upload pictures asap. The reason why I am giving it 4 stars is the price and image advertisement. I think that $240 is a little too much for the vanity. I believe a fair price would be ranging from $137-200. Another reason is that in one of the images the legs look way taller than they actually are. Something very minor is the divider(s) for the middle bottom drawer it doesn't fit and moves around. You can decide not to use it or put your own dividers in. BUILDING: My mother and I built it in about an hour or so. We aren't the greatest builders but it was really easy to build following the instructions. Many reviews make a comment about the mirror arriving broken or that the srews don't line up with the back part. We didn't have any problems with that. PACKAGE: The vanity was well wrapped and packaged. The box was very heavy we opened it on the porch and brought the pieces inside. We received all the pieces including the mirror in perfect condition. The vanity does hold up very still it doesn't wobble nor move. It has a good amount of space. Overall I would recommend it. If built correctly I see no problem on why it should move. ... show more

    • Wonderful vanity, easy to assemble, has a nice classic look once together.
This is a great vanity, and I love that the stool tucks under it if needed to create more room. It's sturdy, and a lovely shade as well. The only down side to it, is that water will leave a ring on the varnish. My kids put a cup on it after I assembled it prior to me moving it into my room and it left a light water ring on it. (Nothing too obvious, but I can see it when trying to find it) assembly was pretty easy, but left a LOT of foam pieces on my floor, and it was hard to sweep up due to static. Most large self assembly pieces come like that though, so I expected it already. Over all, I highly recommend this piece. I'm 5'2" with longer legs than most my hight, and this is perfectly sized for me. I'd say someone slightly taller than me would be ok with this, and anyone smaller should be fine, but its not meant for anyone 6 feet tall though. This comes with all tools needed to assemble, and I put it together by myself in less than an hour. Honestly the cleanup of foam was the hardest part of the assembly. It's a little heavy and bulky once assembled so you may need help moving it if you assemble it in a different room than it's final destination. ... show more
