Great bar stool set. Unboxed without issue. No damage at all. Very well packaged. Instructions were good enough. Not complex to setup. Extra bolts and washers included. Great touch. I used a driver on low torque. They sit flat and seem very sturdy. Also, comfortable. A few build tips: 1. If you have an old flat swivel bar stool, this is perfect to rotate and bolt it together. 2. On the seat base and mounted metal frame, the frame goes with the indents down on the wood. You should see the threads on the other mounts lower near the wood seat. 3. Don't tighten the legs to the seat base until the lower foot support is in place. 4. Do not over tighten. There are lock washers and thread seal to keep things tight. Snug well, just don't over do it. 5. You may want to set the chair flat before tightening the legs to make sure it's square, although I did not and they are still flat to my deck. 6. Took about 1 hour to setup. Overall you cannot beat the value. I'm pretty happy with them. They are outside and under cover. Hopefully the will last a while in the Arizona heat! ... show more

I bought these to go with a bar height table I recently bought. I was lucky that I got the dark colored wood so that it matches the table. Assembly was very easy, especially with my cordless driver and hex bits. One of them is a bit wobbly and the levelers don't seem to work but it's a very minor problem compared to the quality of the bar stool. I just might buy a matching bar to go with it! ... show more

We are SO happy with these bar stools. Not only are they gorgeous looking, they were easy to put together, and are very solid and heavy duty. I've got a big butt and it fits perfectly on the seat!

They are sturdy but the wood is really cheap. Easily replaceable though with an oak board. I know you shouldnt have too replace the wood but i broke one of the boards putting it together and i needed the chairs for a party that evening so i had some oak in my garage so i just cut a new and stronger seat. Then i decided the oak looked better so i changed to wood on both. The steel is strong and the price was cheap. ... show more
