Usually when I buy assemble-it-yourself furniture, the results are just OK. But, these things are made of solid wood, are genuinely sturdy and really look like they cost a fortune. Also, they included several extra screws and parts as well as tools. They really thought of everything to make assembly go as easily as possible. A hex bit set and a cordless driver will make assembly even easier. I bought two of these. Both went together easily. The instructions are clear and the bags of screws and locking cams are very clearly numbered to make is very easy to assemble. If I could give these things 6 stars, I would. ... show more

I was searching for a small side table to put next to my desk because my desk has no drawers. It is exactly what I needed and great for a very small space…but it was a darn pain to assemble it. While it comes with everything you need, including the wrenches, there’s one part (back cover) that has no holes and the instructions say you need two people to hold the thing down while another person drills a hole into the back of the piece… what?! Why would you drill holes in all of the other pieces except that one? Such crap quality from China obviously but what can you do? Everything is made there… Here’s how to get around it. Use a small nail and a hammer or pliers (what I used)…nail it half way, pull it out and then screw it in. At the end of the day it’s working for me and I’d probably buy it again but really wish they’d had all necessary holes drilled into it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a really beautiful and sturdy cabinet…once it’s put together. Patience is needed! There are a lot of pieces and steps, but the instructions were great. You definitely want to use a powered screwdriver though. Can’t imagine how long it would take putting it together without one. I didn’t use the shelf it came with and cut the back boarding to 1/3 of its size using heavy duty scissors (and more patience). Voila, it makes a perfect ventilated and nice looking CPU stand. Note: The back boarding has predefined guiding holes for securing to the back of the cabinet. The back of the cabinet does not have predefined holes to line it up to though. (This is mentioned in the instructions.) Worked great for me since I could flip the cut edge to the top/unseen part of the back and put the clean edge on the bottom, which may be seen when you open the cabinet door. I just made my own holes in the back boarding to secure it as needed. (3 screws on each side). ... show more

Using it in my foyer between two chairs. It fits perfectly and looks great. The style is not over or under stated. Assembly was easy. It took about 1-2 hours but I was taking my time. Some of the holes didn’t line up. I was able to overcome it and it didn’t impact the cabinet.
