These are metal, not wood. Good barstools BUT, like so many Asian-based picture only assembly instructions it leaves a lot to be desired. For example, I freaked out when I saw the attached thinking it meant these had a 110 lb load limit. Instead, it’s saying to level with a 110 lb load on the stool; the load limit is actually 300 lbs. Also many parts did not line up easily & required ‘man-handling’ to make them fit. The biggest issue was the Allen wrench. If we hadn’t found a tool in the tool chest that we could make work, tightening the screws would have been absolutely awful. All that said, now that we’re passed the misery of assembly, they’re good stools for the price. ... show more

I built a place to cook and eat in my tiny home in my tiny kitchen and I needed tiny chairs to sit on well these worked wonderfully. And they're very sturdy being made out of steel the wood on top seems to be just perfect too and I weigh 265 lb and these work great.

These are nice, stylish, was not hard to put together. I like that they are small and don't take up. A lot of space seem pretty sturdy and hold a lot of weight. Purchase these bar stools for a new island. They do not come assembled but was pretty easy to assemble. Took my husband less than ten minutes to assemble. They are cute and fashionable but not the most comfortable seats.

Love them, look great with my Rustic Shabby Chic decor. Only problem was I ordered 1 set. You sent and changed me for 2 sets, sent late and I had to sit around waiting for delivery to make sure I could refuse 1 set. Other than that, I'm totally satisfied.
