I thought that I would take a chance and buy two dressers for my closet. The first dresser assembly was going smoothly until I got to the third drawer. Piece H has a hole drilled on the wrong side of the wood. It's supposed to be on the side where the dowels are. As a result, the holes on the sides do not line up. The screws are supposed to penetrate the white plastic pieces. That is impossible with the defective piece. I mean, it works, but I have to place tape over the white plastic pieces because they fall out. Cue the second dresser. Right from the beginning there was trouble with Piece B1. The holes on Piece A do not line up with the dowels on the bottom of Piece B. To get them to insert, I had to pound on Piece A. I eventually got them to fit. But alas, as I'm ready to put in the D2 pieces, I notice that there are "zero" holes drilled in the side of Piece B1, where there are supposed to be screws to secure the entire dresser. So, I guess that I will need to go get the drill and drill holes myself. Sure, you can call Customer Service, but they don't answer the phone and in a recording tell you to leave a message and they will get back "immediately" with you. No, they don't. They haven't even answered yesterday's call. I sent an email about both problems with photos. No response. So I guess that I'll need to fix the problem myself. And I'm just at the beginning of assembly. I don't even know what other surprises await me. I have built a lot of furniture over the years. They have always gone smoothly. Two pieces of furniture, problems with both. The company obviously needs to reassess their QA Department. Things are falling through the cracks. Time to post a new job opening. An update: I came across yet more defective pieces; J1 and J2. Both pieces had the holes drilled in the wrong places. The first photo shows the wrong holes. The second photo shows where the holes should be. The third shows how extremely annoying all of this is. One hole was not only in an area where there was no wood on the other side, but it was in the way of the metal slide. Shout out to my husband who worked from home today and was therefore available to drill new holes for me. Otherwise, it would have been an even more stressful experience for me. I changed my star to 1 because this is by far the worst experience I have had assembling a piece of furniture. And not just one, two. Two dressers had defective pieces. That is not a good percentage. The dressers are cute, yes, but two out of two with defects is not a good percentage. I can't imagine that the chances wouldn't be very high that other dressers will contain defective pieces. If you really want this dresser, I would suggest finding an experienced furniture builder to assemble it for you to save your sanity and decrease the amount of swear words that might come out of your mouth. Just saying. Another Update: I changed my stars to three because the company was kind enough to send me a whole new dresser; but alas, there was still a problem. The y625 screws, that are supposed to attach the top to the sides of the dresser, were not the correct ones. In fact, they were completely different kinds of screws (seriously, who is in QA?). Since it was Saturday and I knew that customer service wouldn't respond until Monday, and I had dresser pieces strewn throughout my bedroom, I went looking for extra screws and actually found some that were similar to the screws, although they were just under 1". So we used those. I am done with this dresser project. Thankfully. I won't be buying furniture that must be assembled for a very long time. ... show more

Sooo, yes, I saw the negative reviews and purchased it anyway because it was the only thing I could find in the right size and color. I hoped I wouldn't have the issues noted, but I did have a few. I did receive all the correct parts and it was not hard to put together, but the issue with the drawers opening and closing correctly was my biggest problem. The tracks that are pre-installed were significantly bent on the top on 2 drawers causing it to catch when opening and closing it. I was able to remove them and hammer it down which helped a little. Also, you have to pull the drawers with both handles or it will get stuck again, this isn't very wide, it's shouldn't be necessary to use 2 hands to open the drawer, but if you use one and it even pulls a little to that side...issue with the tracks again. I may find a way to MacGyver it as time goes on, but just wanted to set correct expectations for others! ***Update*** The drawers are horrible! I think it was the misalignment of the predrilled holes for the screws not allowing the sides of the dresser to come closer together to prevent the rollers from falling off. Once that happens you have to work it to get it back on. Not sure if other ideas will help with this or not. Might have to take it apart enough and try to make new holes that align better, because who wants to take it ALL the way apart, pack it up and send it back after all that. Didn’t want to spend a lot for what will likely be a shorter term solution and this was still more than I really wanted to send but I needed something. The quality is not great—several pieces had nicks/paint chips out of the box, and the wood for the several drawers is rough/peeling. The nubs that plug into the holes to hide screw heads on the side are brown, not gray. Also several of the knobs are loose and won’t tighten completely. Definitely disappointed but too much of a hassle to try to return. ... show more

So this took a a week or so to show up, & when we assembled, one of the drawers had a bent track. In order to get replacement pieces, they wanted to know what letters we needed. Luckily the manual hadn't made it to the trash yet by the time we got a response. It then took 2-3wks for the replacement pieces. I don't really feel the quality fit the price. I guess I expected something better for what I paid. After 7mo of use, sometimes the drawers grind, or shift as you're pushing them in. I did not like the knobs that it came with. But I loved the ones that I got. It made it look a little bit richer. The color was really pretty though. Great little dresser.
