The media could not be loaded. The VanSmaGo RC Stunt Car has definitely Aced 99% of the checklist. To me, I felt like they could have made it a little faster, or add a few speed modes. Cosmetically, the RC is beautiful, proportionate, well constructed, all of the right features, minus the speed dilemma. The product comes with two batteries that provides well over than enough time to enjoy every bit of what the RC has to offer. Overall, it is affordable and well worth the money. This RC car is awesome with its unique wheel design that allows it to move in multiple directions. The RC car is fast and can drive forward and backward, but it's also capable of driving side to side or diagonally. Its ability to move in so many directions is intriguing and highly enjoyable to control. The car is also capable of putting a bunch of cool sound effects and can push out flame trail behind it. The flame trail is achieved with a mist of water a light which gives the illusion that it's pushing out fire from its backside. The remote is also fairly intuitive and controls the car well. The car includes two rechargeable batteries, but the remote needs two AA batteries. This RC car is best driven on a hardwood floor or pavement and not designed for offroad use. I had a blast with this RC car and would highly recommend it! ... show more

Up to now, I have tested 4 different budget RC cars under $50, and this one is by far the best. Like most RC cars under $50, the controls are all ON/OFF w/o any linear control. This typically makes them very difficult to control, especially indoors. However, I didn't seem to have the same issues that I had with the other cars. The controls where a bit easier to use, and I had no problems at all playing with it indoors on hard floors. When you first turn it on the lights are very bright, and the sounds are very loud. They can both be adjusted, and completely turned off as well. I was having a great time with the Mecanum wheels, and it was really easy to make 180° turns while racing around. I was having a lot of fun with it. At the time of this review, the price is $24.99 and I can absolutely recommend this for anyone at the price point, as long as you do not expect linear controls. It is a lot of fun, and it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries. You will need to supply the AA batteries for the controller yourself. ... show more

I'm pretty impressed with this toy. Granted, someone stepped on it and cracked it a little bit, but that's no fault of the product. It still drives great. It's even been left in the rain and it still works just fine, though I wouldn't recommend doing that. We always turn off the sound because it is a bit irritating (were it not for that feature, this would be a different kind of review). If you're looking for a unique remote control car that can drive in any direction, then this is a great choice. If you're looking for something top speed this is not the one as it has a limited top-speed. I think it's perfect for indoor use and will most likely prevent significant damage to furniture, etc. ... show more

So far this car is awesome, the speed of the car, the directions which it can move, the sounds. I don't know about the durability yet but so far so good. Also, I haven't tried the water exhaust.

awesome RC car that has a bunch of features! goo battery life and a assortment of driving ways. it even has a function to make it look like the car is smoking! super cool and great for kids. good speed and durability as well. I would recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. Such a cool toy! Because the race car has mecanum wheels, it can move pretty much whichever direction you want it to go - forwards, backwards, side to side, and diagonally. The audio effect is pretty annoying though - not sure why it assigns tire screech to all its movements - but luckily, it's easy to turn off. Add some water and it can also spew out water vapor that looks kind of like smoke (like a humidifier) as well. I wish these cars have cartridge based battery packs instead of a battery cell that you need to unscrew the bottom to unplug/plug, but the battery lasts long enough per play that it's not as annoying as some others. Overall, it's a great toy. My 3 and 8 year olds love it. ... show more
