Picture 1- Lights by themselves Picture 2- Lights with light rings on both sides. The vanity lights are not bright enough for makeup by itself. they’re cute, cheap, easy to install so what do you really expect tbh. I already had lightning’s and so it wasn’t a huge problem for me to just stand them on either side (my vanity is in the closet and you can’t see the light rings unless sitting at the vanity so it doesn’t bother me) but it was a bit annoying for the lights to have such great reviews and be a bit disappointed that they’re not very bright. Idk if mine were defective, other people don’t realize they’re not bright enough for makeup application or what really. Lighting in makeup application is extremely important to not have weird lines or to make sure everything is blended or that your face base isn’t darker than your neck. most people know this, and again these are very cheap and I am still overall happy with the look, price and install of the lights but you need to be made aware that these lights cannot stand alone if you are trying to make a makeup vanity mirror you will need more lighting. I like the Ubeezie light rings they’re only $35 and don’t take up a lot of room. Also I got my desk top, and mirror from Lowes and Home depot so my project overall including the lights and light rings was under $100 (besides my alex drawers. you can easily get a shelf and make it as a desk versus having drawers or check fb market place for used alex drawers) versus spending $600-1000+ on a vanity. hell maybe one day but today is not that day im gonna spend that much and im not gonna wait around to create the vanity of my dreams I wanted it now. So overall these lights fit the bill, but definitely be prepared to need more lighting. ... show more

I have a small mirror above my makeup desk with a tapestry behind it. The lights come with a sticky backing or a suction cup. The sticky backing was the only option for my mirror and the way my mirror is, they didn’t stick too well so i decided to stick them to my tapestry. They’re still up today and i LOVE these lights!!! They come with different brightness settings and different color settings! Really good lights! Sorry i couldn’t add a picture but the lights are great! ... show more

I absolutely love my lights for my vanity. My room was kinda dark and this helped lighten it up so much. The suction cups and adhesives did not work so well but I took the suction cups off and just used the adhesive tape and it worked so good!!

I almost didn't buy these lights reading some reviews that they don't sick well. Not a problem for me, in fact I attempted to move the lights once attached to my mirror and I couldn't get them off. They could be a bit brighter but they give decent light.

Pretty cool. Got them tonight was so excited to she how they work. I personally liked the suction cup option I put these in my great grandmother’s antique vanity and didn’t want to take from its beauty. It does come with 3M adhesive and a lot of them. The wires are easy to wrap around the base to make them looked better. It is a usb cord. So you need a wall base to make it work. I use a portable solar panel charging station to power it. Works great. On/off options are nice. Easy to use like that it gives you the ability to change the hue of the light from soft white, warm to a blue hue. Also have the option to make it brighter/lower based on your needs so it’s not alway bright on the face. The actual bulbs feel cheaply made. So we will see how long they will last. ... show more

I purchased these lights to put on my vintage vanity mirror which was passed down from my great grandmother. I wanted something that attached with suction cups rather than sticky stuff and these were perfect. The suction cups stick pretty well. Every now and then one comes unstuck but it's easily re-stuck. I like that you can adjust light temperature and brightness, although I almost always use this on neutral light with highest brightness. Good lighting for applying makeup. ... show more
