This vanity is not for an adult, rather it is child sized. The vanity is 49" tall. I am 63" tall. I have never seen a vanity that is this small, let alone that much shorter than I am. Look at the photos I shared - I put a standard folding chair beside the vanity to show scale. The edges are rough and look worn in places. The coating is peeling off on one piece. The screws don't anchor in leaving the screw edges exposed and sharp/rough to move the hand over. For $180 it didn't even come with hide-away covers for the screws. The drawers are free moving...if you tug a little too hard or pull without paying attention, the drawers will fall out when opening. The instruction manual is as basic as it can be. It includes pictures but no additional detail. There are no size details for the vanity or for the stool. There is no warranty information in the book. When about 60-70% of the construction was complete the size was apparent. A ton of work and about 4 hours to put together. I am not returning it because it was so labor intensive to put together and the idea of taking it apart to repack is super daunting. **Edited 4/10/24 to add a new photo to show full scale size versus the images posted in the product description. ... show more
