  • What a difference a good mouthpiece makes
Model: S6
Albeit, on a budget Singer’s Day soprano sax, it’s a massive step up from the stock mouthpiece and makes this cheap sax sound premium.

  • Excellent
Model: S6
Excellent mouthpiece. It allows for easy playing in both the upper register and lower.

  • Good mouthpiece but might not be best for me
Model: S7
It's a good mouthpiece. I went with 7 because I use a 7 on my alto. I just recently added Soprano to my line up. I think for this piece, I should have went down to a 6. It's a very free blowing piece. Good tone. Soprano, imho, is a hard sax to play in-and-of-itself, so having a mouthpiece you're really comfortable with is important. That isn't the case for me on this mouthpiece right now. So I ended up going with the Meyer 6M for me as it just feels better and is more along the lines to what I am accustomed on my alto (meyer style piece). But I will keep this for future use for now as it is still a very good piece. ... show more

  • It's just OK at best.
Model: S8
Jody Jazz and Theo Wanne run circles around this mouthpiece. It isn't horrible it's just not as good as the aforementioned mouthpieces at least to me. Your mileage may differ.

  • Amazing
Model: S6
Sounds very good. One thing though is it is more fat and some ligatures don’t fit will.

  • The standard mouthpiece
Model: S6
My daughter is an advanced high school musician. She was given a school soprano for a solo in jazz band. I bought this mouthpiece and the same brand ligature. She said it really helped with voicing and range.

  • Quality sound
Model: S6
Works well with 1.5-2.0 reeds. This and my Ricos are my go-to mpcs. Generally darker and more mellow than my other mpcs.
