I am ready for summer and was looking at all my plain white plates (which I love) but wanted something colorful and blue (my favorite) to liven up the table. I looked around at my usual spots (Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn) and there was nothing lively. I saw these and love the color and pattern. They are much nicer in person and are the thickness and durability as my other porcelain plates. They arrived quickly and were packaged perfectly and I was glad I took the chance to try a new brand and mix things up. They are a light to medium blue (all shades) with a swirl and have this very faint but pretty speckled pattern adding depth to the plate. I love having dishes that look like art! This set included 6 plates with a gorgeous design, it is blueish and has a great texture. This plates are really strong and feel durable and fancy. I love how they make a beautiful setup for serving food specially when having guests over. In general a great product. Shipping was very good as they were really protected against any possible damage during the journey. Most times when you buy plates you get 4. Which is fine, but sometimes you need more — some to use for prep, and some to eat off of, or maybe friends visit. Getting 6 of these sturdy, attractive plates in a set is a definite bonus.

Two of them have small scratches. Looks almost used like they were scratched up by silverware or something but it’s kind of hard to see so we think we’ll survive. If there were no imperfections I’d give them 5 stars.

3 stars. Received my plates but one plate was broken. When I picked box up you could hear the plates shifting around inside of it. Plates should have been more secure inside box and box only had the “fragile” stamp on one side. The other five are in good shape and I love them. Update: 5 stars! Seller reached out and replaced the broken plate. Received with no damage!! It was well packed with lots of bubble wrap! I love these plates and recommend them. ... show more

    • Took Several Years To Find These Plates
I have been looking for plates that work best in the microwave. Ones that heat the food not the plate. I have spent so much time buying plates to try them and find out they are not up to my basic need. I have always hated microwaving food and the plate is extremely hot and the food is ice gold. When I bought these and tried them…exactly what I needed. It heated up my food and the plate was cold on the outer edges where the food wasn’t in contact of the plate and lukewarm where the food was in contact of the plate. The food was cooked correctly.
