My family absolutely loves these plates! The plates are not just flat but have a small lip around it which is perfect when you have little ones (and teenagers). The colors are beautiful and they clean very easily! I make a lot of stews and spaghetti and so far no staining at all. They’re microwave safe which is a must and I haven’t had any issues with the tomato sauce ruining the texture of the plate. They stack very well and look great in the cupboard! We like them so much we got the bowls & cups to match! So happy with this purchase! Especially after my teenagers “washed” my stone wear to pieces 🙄😂 ... show more

Purchased the green, and the color is pretty accurate to the photos (if you're picky about colors). I love these plates for several reasons. The basics: they're food safe, freezer safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Beyond that, they have a smooth, slightly matte surface which makes them sort of "nonstick" for things like melting cheese in the microwave. I have advancing disabilities, so I really like that they're lightweight and sturdy. My hands don't work as well as they used to, and these plates have a deep, sloping lip to help the food onto my utensils or dips onto my chips. If you're trying to wean your family off single-use paper, give these a try. There's so much about them to like. Note: If you eat a lot of spiced food, tomato-based sauces, melted cheeses: I recommend getting the plates in yellow/orange/red or darker hues. The lighter colors may show slight staining after several weeks of use. Lastly, I like that these are compostable. They hold up really well but if I ever have to toss one out, I won't feel horrible about permanent plastic pollution. ... show more
