    • Excellent building for the price BUT not for high wind areas unless anchored into the earth.

Like the other reviewer, this building is top notch in its design and multi-use features. No other building, regardless of price, has the gutters with drainage or window. BTW, that window is not flimsy at all. It is very well constructed and I was extremely happy to see that. From the pics, I was worried it was like a heavy-weight plastic. NOPE! It is solid acrylic or plexi that is seated firmly in its framing. Really nicely done. My husband put this together for me as he has massive equipment to move it around, in light of the fact that he needed to build the base as it was to be outside. He has assembled metal buildings as large as 3000 sq ft with 22' walls and said this building was very well done and once you deciphered the picture instructions - no written verbiage - it couldn't have been easier. He was also impressed with the price-point as he would have guessed it to be several hundreds more in light of its design and size. The only cons would be that the metal is very thin which means that anything you are going to install inside is going to require wood framing that sits on the base and not the walls, themselves, so it doesn't pull in the walls from its weight. For that we deducted 1 star. If it had been just a hair thicker, would've been 5. As it is so thin, it is subsequently very lightweight. That is good for moving around but not good for being outside if you have any kind of high winds over 30 mph. We regularly have high winds and had 70 mph 2 days after it was installed as a chicken coop. It did not survive. lol Did it stay together? Yes. Did it remain upright on base constructed out of solid 2x6 and OSB? While it stayed securely fastened to the base, it was flipped over which mangled the front roof line and doors; can't close the right one. But, even at that, the fact that the roof or building as a whole wasn't ripped apart was very impressive. Had we anchored into the rock terrain with 3' rebar, it would have been fine. So just know that if outside and not backed up onto a fence, it must be staked to the ground, not just a base. Would I buy this again? I already did. He and I like it so much that we have ordered another one and will be turning the first one into a feed building once we fix the doors and roof line. It will work just fine for that. You won't be disappointed with this shed; just understand its limitations in wind. :) haha! ... show more

Size: 8x6x7.5 FT
I spent a lot of time shopping for metal sheds in this size and price range. This is by far and away the best of them. This has the thickest and strongest metal panels. The increased height allows you to stand up straight when you are inside of it. The window allows natural light with the doors closed. The steep slope of the roof keeps leaves from piling up on it and gets the water/snow off of it. It looks great, 2 neighbors have already complimented it. Customer service was quick to respond and very easy to work with. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid storage shed. ... show more
