We installed this on our 5th wheel trailer in 2013. Have not had any issues. This valve was recommended on an RV forum to prevent sewage leakage when removing the sewer cap off of the dump pipe. I gave this a 5 star review, although I haven't had the chance to use it yet. The fit was tight and came with the pin to secure it in place. Knowing there was going to be residual water and/or waste, I put a bucket down to avoid the runout. Installing it took less than 5 minutes, locate where the hole is for the pin prior to attaching. I'll be able to drain the small sink drain tank on longer camping trips with this gate valve installed ... show more

So, I love the idea and the easy attachment. Gat works good and seals with no leaks. Fits all camper hoses with good comparability. Only disappointment is the female lock/ seal. This is my second one, with the first one coming broken. Doesn't seam to hold the weight of the fuilds in the hose. I will probably end up building my own when this one breaks that being said, if your only adding this to your camper exit, it should be great for you!
