When I bought my RV many years ago, a long time RV'er friend recommended to me to get one. I followed his advice and bought one. For several years I had it in a just in case, then I was at a RV park that had a campground bandit who would go pull dump valve drains on RV's that causes a problem with the dump valve becoming stuck open. The other reason is if that same valve will eventually start to leak or not shut fully. Or in some cases the valve is not as accessible as it could be. A quick temporary fix until you can get the valve replaced. That could is messy situation think cousin Eddie... 😣 ... show more
