The two-set sofa arrived in two very well packed boxes. The driver lowered the boxes to the drive and put them into the garage. Your delivery service will vary by location. The on-line instructions are very well done and the box sort of unpacks and unrolls into place. This is definitely a two adult job as each box is marked 120 pounds. The package is mostly sturdy cardboard. As evidence on how well they do the little things they wrap the nasty styrofoam in plastic wrap so the little white balls don't end up everywhere. Well done! Assembly was easy. The two halves of the sofa are aligned from and back and just slid together and a clever system has one side biting onto the other side. I put my wife on one side and I on the other and just sort of leaned together and click they locked together tightly. No wrenches, no nuts, no bolts ... just spin the little thing with the teeth around so it faces the other side of the sofa and push. The fit and finish of the leather, foam, and frame is impeccable. The sofa feels study and solid. The foam in the bottom seat cushion is a firm "sports car" like feel, there's a bit of padding on the arms, and the two pads that touch in the middle are 'sittable' they're comfortable enough. I'm 5'10" and 210 pounds and the seats were plenty big enough. Sitting in them there's plenty of room for a thick blanket wrap. Each of the three seats has smooth 'analog' adjustments through their range. As you recline the legs kick out a bit and then the back starts reclining. The head rest runs up and down smoothly without pinching. The lumbar support can make sitting long periods more enjoyable. In side each deep side pocket was a beautiful black carbon fiber accessory tray that was a perfect fit for my iPad Pro or a bucket of popcorn. The cup holders are illuminated blue as is the footwell of each seat. I'd give six stars if it was heated. This is a very high quality sofa that can be delivered right to your doorstep. As a recently widowed septuagenarian I was a bit hesitant ordering the Tuscany recliner. I realized from the description that some assembly was required. I also know up front that it was heavy. Still I really liked all the good points: power recline, wall hugging, power headrest and lumbar, cup holders and the availability of accessories. Sitting on supple Italian leather was a a definite plus. Well the chair had everything I wanted and then some so I took a chance. Valencia contacted me shortly after the order was submitted to verify delivery information and provide me with information for tracking the shipment. A nice touch. The chair arrived two days earlier than the original estimated delivery date, which a was great. It was packed in one rather heavy box. The instructions printed on the box called for turning it over - twice to facilitate removal of the box without damage to the contents. It was much too heavy for me to do that. I instead very carefully cut the box open, being extremely careful to not to let the blade penetrate more that the thickness of the very thick cardboard. First problem resolved. The two sections were well wrapped in two protective layers. The chair still had a layer of plastic and cardboard under the bottom preventing me from sliding it, but lifting a corner at a time I could remove the blockage. I then needed to detach the lumbar and headrest power cords connecting the chair back from base so I could move the two pieces separately. I was then able to tilt the base onto a furniture dolly and move it. Once the base was in position it was easy to slide the back onto the base and reattach the power cords for the lumbar and headrest. I plugged it into the outlet and voila I was done. The chair Is very roomy and very comfortable. The leather is soft, supple and very nice to the touch. The lumbar is a bit high up for me, I'm 5'6", but once reclined I can slide up a tad and am in the right place to make use of it.. The headrest is awesome, allowing me to position my head in the most comfortable incline. The power movements make it very easy to get in just the right position. If I could add anything at all it would be a quick return button that would return to the sitting position faster than the positioning button. I would also add a note to the box that the assembly instructions can be found in the armrest compartment and print the instruction QR code on more than one place. The QR code on the box I received was damaged beyond usefulness. All that being said I love my new theater chair!! ... show more

These are some of the best made seating I have had the pleasure reclining in. The leather is very soft and comfortable, the controls are easy to use and the headrest is a plus. Great experience from ordering, to email and phone conversations, to delivery. The arm storage is large enough for keyboard, mouse and dog treats. My wife, my dog Gus and I are pleased with the purchase. Would do business with Valencia again. If you're thinking about buying give these a look. Valencia does make good seats. ... show more

As a Home Theater enthusiast, I know theater seats. Not only have I owned previous theater seats for over 30 years - I go to a AMC movie theater every week - so I believe, I am a pretty good judge of theater seats. These seats are by far the most comfortable, well made, luxurious we've ever had. It was important that the seats had the features we wanted-reclining, power lumbar support, and powered head rest was a must. (GAME Changer). We also wanted the controls on the inside of the seat and not on the cup holder, like we have seen on other seats. The Italian leather exceeded our expectations. My husband and I of 40 yrs love watching our favorite TV shows on this luxury Valencia loveseat. It's easy to cuddle and has super comforting lumbar and head adjustments, perfect for lounging.
