This shower curtain rod is perfect. We have used it for about 15 months with no slipping or movement at all. Once it was put in place I haven't given it a second thought. This rod twists to maintain a constant tension instead of using springs. At first I was concerned about its strength and sturdiness. I was very wrong to be concerned I was able to crank this so tight it left indentions in the drywall and it feels very sturdy. Both ends have a soft rubber like pad that grab really well. I have no doubt this rod will remain in place for years to come.
