This has worked perfectly for our very large opening between the kitchen and living room! I wanted to use it for the Christmas garland but I was nervous about the sturdiness of it. Even with the added weight of the garland, bells, and other Christmas ornaments, it’s held up!

I didn't think this item work for me. I was worried about it coming up short on the length even though I measured it. When item arrived it's just as pictured. It does have a slight weight to it. But the length is adjustable which makes it perfect. After tinkering with it I found the perfect length. It works great, as I'm using it in a bedroom as a divider. It's holding up well, great item for the price. The only issue I have is that the metal loop of the curtain gets stuck at the round little knob that protrudes from the adjustment bar. So it doesn't give you a smooth pull when closing or opening the curtain. Other than that it's great.
