I mixed about 1/2 C of these to an 8 oz spray bottle. I spray on my thighs when I think of it & bottom of feet at night. Sometimes I also put a carrier oil on so it will absorb better. I read that would help. 🤷🏼♀️ I now sleep very deeply. I don’t wake during the night like I was for the last 8 mos or more. Haven’t noticed an increase in energy. I am not as anxious as I was getting either. I’ve been sharing with friends as this is a HUGE jar and great value. PS if you itch at first, keep using it. Your body is low and t will stop itching.

After I spent three solid weeks waking at night with horrible leg cramps, I sought solutions. Coincidentally, I had a routine doctor's appointment a few weeks after the problem started, so I talked to her about it. She recommended tonic water because of the quinine, which I bought immediately, but after three days I couldn't tell a difference. I kept taking it, but I also did a little research and decided to order the pure magnesium flakes. With Prime shipping, the jar arrived in less than 24 hours, on Mother's Day Sunday, no less! I immediately dissolved the flakes in warm water, about half and half by volume, though I made it more concentrated for the second batch, and started rubbing the solution over the affected area and elsewhere on my skin. Apparently the magnesium is absorbed well through the skin, and by the third morning later, no more cramping! I have continued using the product several times a day, and I'm still pain-free three weeks later. (I stopped taking tonic water so I feel certain it's the magnesium that made the difference.) It makes sense when you think about it. Magnesium is the same stuff trainers use on athletes, who are always pulling muscles. The reason I wanted to go the topical route is because I already take magnesium orally, but you can only take so much without risking digestive problems. The magnesium solution is commonly called "magnesium oil." Though it's not an oil, the liquid has a slippery feel when wet and has a slightly tacky sensation when dry. There is no odor, no greasiness and no sensitivity whatsoever, and I completely forget that it's on! I make a point to generously apply it three or four times a day where I experienced the original pain, and will probably continue using it as part of my daily regimen now, as it must be a mineral I need.

I use this to make my own Magnesium Oil. I use 1/2 cup of flakes and 3 TBS of boiling water. Then leave it in a jar and apply at night on my skin and areas that have muscle/Nerve pain. It didn't burn my skin at all and it didn't have the salty smell or the sticky feeling after applied. I struggle with nerve pain as well and this seems to help the pain in my legs and hands. Warning if you are going to use it this way remember to wash your hands afterwards because Magnesium in the eyes is not Fun!!! (;P). Other ways I use. In a nice hot tub. When I soak my feet after a long day. I also make a 1:1 Ratio in a spray bottle and use it in the morning. Different things I've ready about Magnesium absorption has stated the best way to absorb up to 70% is by applying directly on the skin. The other is using a magnesium oil in a dropper and putting 5-7 drops under your tongue and hold it for 2-3 mins then spit it out and/or wash your mouth out with water. (I've not tried this one). I also us as a Magnesium Scrub when once a week in the shower. It really works good to exfoliate the skin. My other favorite is a thick peppermint Magnesium cream I make. I use it on my feet and hands mostly, but also my legs and arms to moisturise at night.
