Track Ball controllers are like shoes. They have to fit your hand and lifestyle. If they are not comfortable you'll risk hurting your hand eventually. This is the second track ball I've tried to replace my previous one. It is better than anything Kensington can do but it's not perfect. The good stuff: The track ball is well placed and smooth rolling. The main buttons and scroll wheel are well placed too. The Bad: The page forward and page back buttons are in the wrong place. You have to move your thumb of the ball to use them. This isn't comfortable and will cause RSI over time. Yo could just not use these buttons but really they should be on top of the device next to the left-click button. There is a clever compartment cover on the underside of the device. This is slightly magnetised so it sticks to the track ball and raises the wrist position. Lurking under this cover are the dongle and battery compartment. This is a neat touch but not one they tell you about. It took me a few minutes to find the dongle. In the end this is a pretty good track ball. The page forward/page back buttons are in the wrong place for me. If they work for you that's great as this is a well made and easy to use track ball. ... show more
