This bulb only lasted 3.5 months and when I reached out to try and get any sort of replacement or refund, they said I was outside the window. These bulbs should last much longer... Probably won't buy this brand again.

I've had this month now and when I switch it on in the morning it doesn't turn on unless I tap the bulb. The light sometimes flickers and to be honest I'm a little worried the uvb output isn't correct or high enough for my bearded dragon. I have it situated under the screen inside the tank and fairly close to his basking platform, but since switching to this light he has had digestion issues (beardies need correct uvb to aid in digestion) all in all I'm worried I'll have to replace it and I really can't afford to waste money. ... show more

So far I love it. Even better than the rectangle lamp I just got for my Beardie. That one has the shape and look of an aquarium LED lamp except you can put two different bulbs in it. But if you need just the UVB light this is one of the best I have seen. I have not yet checked to see how long the bulb lasts because I just got it. It came with a bulb already inside of the lamp. But there is a manual that comes with it that explains how to put a bulb in. I put the fixture on top of my 64-gallon size aquarium with a metal wired lizard cage lid. It comes with hardware if you want to put it on the inside of a metal cage as well, but I didn't feel I needed to yet. But it's nice to know that I can if I change my mind. The bulb is really bright. I put it in the middle of the aquarium, and it lights things up pretty well all by itself. It says on the listing that it ensures proper UVB light at proper basking distances. I am not sure what that would be. I didn't see where it said. But I have a log that my Bearded dragon climbs on to that put him close to it, so I am not too worried. But it is something you will want to think about if your Beardie is in a cage like mine where there is a big difference between the floor and the bulb. And usually in cases where there is it is better to put the bulb on the inside, so it doesn't have to go through the screen wire as well. The listing page says they have a support team that can answer your questions within 24 hours. The listing also says that these bulbs are meant to last at least one year. It is simple to use, seems to be made well, is bright, has proper UVB, and a support team. I think it is definitely something people who have lizards like Bearded Dragons should check out. It is 22 inches long so make sure first that you have at least that much room to put it on. ... show more
