I put this sucker on my HK sl8 and only use the Lazer out to 50 yards. Installing it took 15 minutes! It's a deadly combination. I don't know if it's the scope or the HK but they are definitely an amazing combination!

Very nice scope. It is easy to attach. It easy easy to see through and use. The laser is cool and really helps get the best focus for where I need to shoot. It also has a nice case so that it is easy to take with you, put in your gun bag and take wherever. It looks great on your weapon and does not add a ridiculous amount of extra weight.     • Decent optic
It's not a bad little 4x optic. I tend to use variable power scopes, Romeo5 red dot sights, or LPVOs on my MSRs. I put this on one that happened to have a really cheap red dot and I'm pleased with it. Here are my opinions about various features and appearance. The eye relief is decent and no complaints with that. Adjusting the diopter for my eye was easy enough. Overall appearance of the optic is good. The machining isn't the best as you can see a lot of milling marks. Adjustment of the windage and elevation screws is a bit mushy and you have to really feel and listen for the clicks. The reticle does respond well to the adjustments. I had no problems with the driver on the caps to turn the adjustment screws. I'm used to them from using the Romeo5 red dots. I'm not crazy about laser stuff but it is what it is. I'd like to see that be a detachable option. However, a person can just buy an optic without a laser sight attached. The laser must be sighted (has windage and elevation screws) for a certain distance. Example is if you figure 50 yards to be a suitable distance, you would want to roughly zero the dot for 50 yards. More than likely anything closer would be fine and still hit. Anything further, like 100 yards, the bullet impact vs laser point of aim may be off by many inches. Just some thoughts. The illuminated reticle is not strong enough in daylight. In my house it is very bright but the sunlight is able to overpower it outdoors. Perhaps low light use is recommended, like during twilight. Turning on and off is easy and I appreciate the directions being right there. I really like the appearance of the reticle even though I'm not a fan of BDC reticles and figuring out what the subtensions correlate to. Overall it's acceptable quality and very affordable for a 4x prism optic. Accuracy was very respectable and seemed to hold. I used Winchester 556 in my testing. I have seen some nice optics on other people's gear and this is not it. I think those guys are crazy running around an airsoft field with super expensive stuff. For a cheap site with a laser it works. It does not work great, the site picture is OK. The zoom does not feel like it is as far as it is suppose to be but I honestly don't care for its use. It has a sci-fi look to it and gives a spacey futuristic look. Could be good for filming a indy movie or something similar. I personally have no use for a really nice optic but for messing around with airsoft or even paintball, this works just fine. Wish it had some more standard batteries but I do not use it often so hopefully battery life won't be a huge issue. ... show more
