It is a soft and very comfortable cotton blanket of good quality. I also like that the selvage is present and only two sides are hemmed. I particularly love the weave. I have pups and their nails would snag our previous cotton blanket constantly. This weave absolutely solves that. Bought a king for my queen bed as always. Covers nicely on the sides and there is enough at the bottom to tuck in. I purchased the purple and it was not as dark as it appeared but I still like it. Wash in cold and dry on low…ALWAYS. After the first wash, I washed again with baking soda and white vinegar which sets the color and loosens the fibers of cotton which is key imho. Please, no fabric softener…EVER. The price is fantastic. I gave it four stars because of the lack of care taken when joining threads which should not be as visible or as coarsely done as they are. (These thread joints are a point of weakness and when they are not done correctly they will eventually be the place a hole starts or a snag happens). My first cotton blanket cost over $150 and it lasted many years, well over ten. It was hemmed on all four sides and eventually one of the hems unraveled in the wash. This is just as expected, this is an all cotton thermal blanket. Got mine in a great purple color. There is a bit of a pattern as seen in the photo. Comfortable and well constructed.

I was looking for a a very lightweight blanket that breaths for the summer. This is perfect! Also, it doesn’t stretch out of shape like the waffle weave cotton blankets. Lighter weight too. I’m going to order a second one.

I really like the feel of this blanket, but either we received the wrong size or it is mislabeled as King size when in reality it's Queen. The product info lists the size as 90"x108", what we received is about 93"x93". Great lightweight blanket, but when you have to fight over who is covered it's not ideal. ... show more
