My contractor had to use special anchors to get this TV mount to be secured on my interior load bearing wall. Works well, adjusts to different angles but difficult to maneuver back into against the wall position. Easy installation once you find your studs. My sister and I put up in about 5 mins. Can hold quite a bit of weight, we have a 5 year old heavy 50 inch Vizio and it fits perfect. Nice and durable and a great price. I was glad to get the TV off the dresser where the door could possibly get it
