These LED strip lights were a little more expensive but worth every penny. I needed something to brighten my art studio in a small space that had no overhead lighting. I was able to go around the entire room with 2 reals 26’ each and WOW! I mounted the remote to the wall by the entrance with hook-n-loop [Velcro(R)] to keep it handy and act as a light switch upon entering the room. It’s the perfect solution for adding more light without calling an electrician—changing the amount of brightness and warmth is simple since everything you need located on the remote. Product seems perfect for what I intend to do. However, does not pair with the unboxing video attached. Driver only has one port to connect led strips. (Video displays 2 ports) , so I've had to purchase extra kits to fit my specific needs.

I go live sell and I use those light to boost the lighting for my product. It’s so easy to set up for me. Just plug in all wire then it works. The best thing is remote control. The LEDs are much brighter than I expected them to be which is great because I used them to light an entire room that does not have a ceiling light. I installed them in a "V" shaped aluminum channel that runs around the entire circumference of the room along the ceiling and it lights the entire room better than a typical ceiling light does. The ability to control it with the remote is just an added bonus. I love it! ... show more

I needed a new set of perimeter lights for my ceiling after the Christmas lights I had strung along my ceiling unfortunately went kaput (as Christmas lights do at the slightest touch) after one of the command hooks it was attached to fell off the wall, causing that section to bump into my TV and that half of the string went out, I tried to fix it, and the rest went out as well...I didn't have luck finding Christmas lights like that at this time of the year, so I came onto amazon and came across these....I'll admit I was a little wary of these since they're a little pricey for the 52' (which isn't one 52' roll but two 26' rolls FYI), but I also needed lights so I took the risk and got them. So far, it's been absolutely WORTH IT!!! They're a little brighter than I thought they'd be (even at the "dimmest" regular setting, but not "night mode"), but not bad. I had a slight issue at first with getting the backing off the adhesive so I could stick it to the wall, but once I got the backing off to expose the adhesive, I was able to stick it with no issues. I included a picture of the lights with the connectors (each string has its own connector), then just a picture of the lights on the lowest regular mode with "warm light", and the last picture is the "night mode" (EDIT: it reversed the order of my pictures after I posted my review, so night mode is first, then lowest regular mode setting, then the connectors). My room is about 10'x11' and I used 1 full roll and a little less than 1/2 of the 2nd roll...apologies for the long winded review, but hope it helps! ... show more

This set lacks basic functionality. Im not sure if other sets are better, but this fell way below expectations for 3 major reasons: 1) the power button on the remote does not actually turn the lights off, just to a “dim orange mode”. Seriously?? 2) when it says it has a kelvin range for different colors, it conveniently leaves out that those colors are tied to brightness levels. This is by design and cannot be fixed. For example, you can only get 100% brightness running the cool white. If you want a darker tone for the evening, that is only available at 10% brightness (the same function that “off” resorts to). I was hoping to get 100% brightness across all levels. 3) The dimmest level is also not very dim. Certainly not enough for casual lighting while watching a movie or something like that. Pros: very bright leds (again only on cool white setting). ... show more
