Update: I reached out regarding missing parts and after several emails repeating what part is missing, replacements were sent. Ended up receiving an entire new collection of fastener hardware instead of what was missing. Missing stuff was in my hands within a week. Extra parts were great as I later found more missing. Assembly was somewhat simple but not without several breaks trying to interpret the visual instructions. Some pilot holes were not drilled and just had the laminate drilled off. Others parts had no indication of where to fasten. Absolutely watch the assembly video in the images, much more helpful than included instructions. Only had to pull out the drill and right angle adapter for one step. Once built it feels pretty sturdy and looks great. Haven't put on the wall yet but doubt there's any problem with that part. Would recommend thinking through the LED placement. I placed on inside of front panel as the instructions seemed to indicate. I think better placement would be top of cabinet facing down. Once equipment is placed inside cabinet the light wash is kind of blocked with larger devices like receiver and Xbox. Y adapter/controller for LED segments has a good amount of length for each branch. App for control is meh and crashes the controller requiring power cycle, there's a secondary app made by a consumer that seems to be much better and available on play store. Despite the pain to get finished I'm still pretty happy with the end result. ----- Received today and found to be missing parts required for first installation step. Contacting seller for assistance and will update after working with them. Instructions are fairly basic but seem straightforward. Diagram for the part missing doesn't seem to indicate the particular piece missing and so not sure if other parts may be missing as I haven't gotten to their step to confirm they work as intended. Otherwise arrived in great condition and film protecting the glossy parts. Looking forward to being able to finish this project and hope seller comes through on getting what is missing sent. ... show more

I bought this item looking for that floating look for my electronics and surround sound receiver. It is a solid shelf but poorly made as far as the hooks to hold it on the wall. If you put any weight on the shelf after you put it on the wall. The hooks will come off the wall easily. Not only that, I had to drill holes at the bottom of the shelf to pass the wires through it. Not the look I am looking for, so now I am searching for another product to replace it. They need to redesign the hooks to where they are bigger and deeper to grab hold to the rail better. And drill holes in the bottom of the shelf to pass the wires through. It will not fit a surround sound receiver as you see in the first picture. It doesn't fit. I am going to let this look stay until I get another entertainment center. Any more weight on this thing and it looks like it is going to snap. I'm not happy with this product. ... show more

Brackets that pull it close to the wall are not placed where they attach to the stud of the wall bought shelving brackets to secure under the shelf. Didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning it I’ve not thrown money away on better products.
