I use this to switch my peripherals from my gaming PC and my work PC. When gaming, I don't notice any additional input lag, it feels the same as it did before. I'm sure there is some added input lag, as any device like this would add some, but it's small enough where you most likely wouldn't notice.

I decided to go with an interesting use case for this product which really tests the compatibility. I've got it going between my PC and iPad Pro. The peripherals I connected are a gaming mouse and keyboard. The keyboard uses two USB ports. The wireless mouse is a G900 wireless mouse but uses a 2.4ghz usb dongle. I also have an audio-gd amp/dac connected via usb. I can happily say the switch is fast and works fantastic. I can quickly switch between the 2 very different platforms. My mind was blown to see my Amp/DAC work over the switch so well. I use it to listen to High Fidelity music on a pair of HD6XX. Moving between Apple music on the iPad Pro and Foobar on the PC is almost seamless which is borderline a miracle lol. = I would say the only downside is a lack of remote. It makes positioning the switch incredibly important. Mine unfortunately isn't in a great spot due to how I had to run the cables but it's not bad. For this reason alone I reduced the rating to 4. If you don't care about having a remote, this is a 5 star product for sure. So in the end I highly recommend this for some cool setups. It just works. ... show more

This USB Switch 3.0 KV came with 2 USB 3.0 Cables and an Instructions Manual but does not include a USB Micro Cable for the matching Charging Port. This Device was easy to set up. I didn’t have to download any Driver or App for it to work. This Switch has several USB Ports to plug in a Mouse, Keyboard, etc. The Button makes it easy to switch back and forth between two plugged in Devices, such as 2 Computers. ... show more

    • Frees up desk space when using two computers
This KVM switch does everything as advertised. I was able to connect a keyboard, mouse and two USB flash drives and switch them between two computers by pushing one button. There was about a 1 second delay after the button push for the computer to recognize the devices but that is to be expected. I initially used the switch with an external power source (AC adapter and cable were not supplied) but after removing the external power I saw no difference in performance. I knocked off one star because I can't say it is a good value as I've seen comparable devices for as much as $10 less. Also, the switch case was not flat on the bottom so it would rock slightly side to side. I don't know if it was designed this way or if I just got a defective one.
